Vacation rentals in Shepperton

Lovely home and beautiful grounds. We appreciated that mary had the heat and hot water turned on before we arrived. She had a binder of helpful tips on operating appliances etc. and suggestions of nearby restaurants and attractions. She was accommodating when we asked for early checkin.

As we were arriving at 4am, Denise kindly upgraded us to No 1, because it was easy to access as right next to the car park. The house has been recently refurbished. It had everything we needed, perfectly clean, very comfortable beds, fluffy towels, beautiful views. The welcome pack of tea, soda bread and biscuits was very welcome as we were unable to buy supplies on the way as we drove through the night from Dublin airport. The drive was from Dublin was easy, the check in was easy, the house was perfect and our hosts generously allowed us to be relaxed about our check out time too, which was much appreciated. There's a shop and a hotel with restaurant moments away, it's a longer walk into Killarney but doable. It's a very beautiful part of the world. We were visiting relatives nearby so hope to return soon.

Lovely stay, I could highly recommend it. Helen made us feel right at home as she went above and beyond. The location is great as it is close to Red Strand beach which is a great swimming beach and Long Strand beach which is lovely for a nice relaxing stroll.

Denis is an amazing host. He took out time to meet us and gave some good tips and helped with all our questions. We loved the location. The sunrise from living room window is breathtaking. The place is handy with lots of nearby good spots. Kitchen is well equipped with all the cooking essentials. Sofas are nice and cosy for sinking in. Many bathrooms which is a big plus as we were 2 families. Big backyard and we enjoyed BBQing which we brought along. We felt 3 days stay was a little short and we could have spent more time. We will definitely come again.

Absolutely loved our stay! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described. The host was super responsive and thoughtful, making check-in a breeze. The location was perfect—close to everything we needed but still peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

West Cork holds a special place in my heart, this little cabin made our stay very comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Looking forward to seeing Matts Firepit in the future. The site is clean with modern conviences.

Michael and his family were such lovely hosts. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel completely at home. They were always quick to respond and full of great tips for things to do, especially with the kids. Their place was beautiful and cozy—everything was just right. We’re so grateful for their kindness and would stay again in a heartbeat.

An absolute gem of a property in a wonderful quiet location with glorious views. The hosts were exceptional with their friendly welcoming way and they certainly went over and above to make our stay a memorable one. Highly recommended.
