Chris and Bethanie's FoxCreek home provided a serene escape. The well-equipped house and beautiful property made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. With plenty of nearby activities, it's a perfect getaway. Highly recommended!

This place was a very spacious quiet area and great amenities. We didn’t use the lake toys because it was November but if it was warm enough we would have. The place was so comfortable and clean. It literally has everything we needed for a 3 day stay. I could t ask for more. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

My wife and I rented the cabin for a getaway weekend. We loved it! Very secluded and beautiful, the cabin sits on the top of a ridge surrounded by a forest, no neighbors in sight. Inside, the cabin was well done. Lots of updates and is very clean and plenty of space for us. They have a brand new hot tub that worked great. A decent kitchen that has the basics, it was plenty for the meals we cooked. There is also a smart tv that was great to be able to log in to subscriptions we have. The wifi worked just fine, no issues. There is a small general store/gas station about 2.5 miles away that also has pizza. You'll have to go further if you need a full grocery store, but expected that and brought groceries with us. The hosts were extremely responsive. We had a few questions before our stay, and they were very quick to answer and gave us all of the details we needed. We will definitely consider going again!

We loved our Friendsgiving Thanksgiving stay at The Nest! The house is beautiful and so are the views! Although it was cold, we were able to take advantage of the hot tub under the stars and during a snow squall(the provided robes definitely helped!). The fire pit with stocked marshmallow sticks was perfect for making s'mores. Thank you so much!

My stay at Lost River Modern was great. The house is a design masterpiece - I've never seen anything like it. The main floor is dominated by a great room that encompasses LR, DR and kitchen. All-glass sliding doors run the length of the house, so your view of the forest and the hills is unbroken. The deck runs exactly parallel to the great room, and my two dogs exhausted themselves just by laying in the sun each day. The setting is very private and peaceful. No other houses or roads in sight. Sharon's detailed directions/instructions/cautions/recommendations were extremely helpful. We (me + pups) had a great stay.

Susan was very helpful! The Air bnb was very clean and open! Also had a cool game and movie area. Hot Tub was great!

I rented this place out for a quiet location to celebrate my sister’s 40th birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for, centered around numerous wineries and breweries and the views can’t be beat! Not to mention, the chickens and goats that keep you company. My dog also was right at home. Highly recommend!

Would recommend Jackie’s cabin for anyone who is interested in a private getaway. The Airbnb was lovely and the worth the price. Jackie was super responsive and very helpful with getting us firewood for the fire pit. 10/10 overall. Lovely stay at Luray!

Really lovely space, well thought out. Well located near Charlottesville. Many hikes around to enjoy! Would definitely stay again.

Second time staying at this cabin. Plenty of room. Kitchen is well stocked and the pots/pans are in good condition. We played some board games and watched movies. Beds were comfy and plenty of blankets provided if you get cold. Location is nice and quiet, but still 15-20 minutes from hikes and attractions.

It's a cozy little cabin, intimate, well-furnished and stocked with appliances, pots, pans and cutlery, cleaning supplies condiments and a few snack bars and popcorn. Nice fire pit area (couldn't use because a burn ban was in effect) and a wood stove with a bundle of fire wood in the holder next to the stove for our use. WiFi is easy to connect to and we were able to connect our services to the TV.

This stay was amazing! The cottage was super cozy a perfect place to unplug and wind down. Patricia was an amazing host and I loved all of her intentional touches to the space to make you feel at home!

Jonathon and Sibylle are terrific hosts. They had everything set up for an easy check-in, had wifi to make up for a lack of Internet reception and were very accommodating. It was so thoughtful to have breakfast foods ready to go. We loved the rural location. Since we brought our dog, it was a great area to walk around each day. They were such pleasant people to talk to. we look forward to returning.

This campsite is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The quiet atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make it an ideal getaway. Houston and Anne Marie are fantastic hosts. If you're looking for a peaceful and relaxing camping experience, I highly recommend The Humble Abode. I can't wait to return!

Erika's home was not only just a place to stay, it felt like a home that feels very welcoming. The hosts were very responsive and communicative, the room was prestine with cute decors. If I have to criticize anything, it would be the bedframe which tends to chipper a bit when you move, but other than that we slept perfectly fine! We will definetly return when we visit Shenndoah again. Thank you!

This was the perfect little getaway. Beautiful little log cabin with wood burning stove. We finally got some rain so we just stayed inside and had a fire the entire time. We will be back for sure!

What a stunning little hideaway! Kim’s property is gorgeous, especially during the fall. We met her friendly kitty which my friend and I loved. The cottage was cozy and perfect for 2! There are a few stores about 7 min away which is nice. ~1 hr to Richmond. But very quiet, peaceful stay. Lots of land to walk around and Kim was responsive! Even got to meet some of the horses. There seemed to be lots of lady bugs inside but didn’t bother us much. This property is full of history, it is definitely aged but that’s what makes it unique! Will definitely stay again in another season!

We stay here a couple times a year. It is perfect. Clean, has everything you need. Love the location. Adam is so helpful and responsive to anything we need. Our dogs do great here. Love to take hikes. Very very relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend!!

My friends and I just stayed at this cabin for 4 days and we absolutely loved everything about this awesome place! There was 6 grown men reuniting and there was plenty of room for each of us. This place is really, really nice! I highly recommend it. We went to Thirstys cheeseburgers and had some cold beer and the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day. Thanks for everything! We will be back here soon hopefully!!

My family and I stayed here, it was a good getaway. Beautiful views, pool was great, and hot tub as well. The fireplace was nice. The bugs do not bother you. You really do need a 4x4 car to get there. The road is rough and are a ton of rocks on the way there. It would be useful to add some more outdoor light since it does get very dark at night. Other than that it was a good place to stay at. Love it! 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Mary Beth's condo! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the space was fully stocked with everything we needed. It was spotless and clearly maintained with great attention to detail, making it feel like a true home away from home. The comfortable furnishings and thoughtful touches added to the overall charm. Communication was seamless, and Mary Beth was very responsive throughout, ensuring we had everything we needed. The location was perfect, peaceful and relaxing. We're already looking forward to returning next year!
