Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shelby County

Absolutely beautiful home! Extremely cozy and comfortable. Our stay was for a friend get together primarily spent in the house and we all enjoyed it! Plenty of room and space to relax, enjoy some TV, play games, and eat together.

Mark was so quick to respond with all communication! House was great! Bedrooms are big and beds are comfortable! Lots of room! Loved the backyard, great for our furbaby! We have been staying in Airbnbs for four years in Birmingham and this is our favorite one so far! We will definitely stay here again!

We live just a few houses down from Eli's house. We had a large number of family members coming to visit for the holidays, so it was awesome to have a separate place to stay that was easily walkable to our home and to the restaurant, brewery, bookstore and locally-owned shops just two blocks away. The location is perfect for visiting Birmingham. Five minute drive to the airport; ten minutes or so to downtown and all it has to offer. Lots of opportunities for hiking and outdoor fun within the metro area. The house was well-appointed, everything was clean, and access to the grill was a bonus. Plus, Eli was really great with communication. We'll totally use the house again when we have family and friends visiting.

My second time staying at Jackie’s which says a lot since I have other options. Her place is incredibly clean, well stocked with everything you can think of, her kitchen is open and big, and finally, she allows gatherings. This combo is really hard to find. Thanks so much, again!

Probably the best Airbnb I’ve ever been in. Such a fun stay. Delaine was super clear so we never questioned what we needed to do. Have already recommended to friends and would for sure stay here again!

we LOVE, LOVE,LOVE this beautiful home. My family has stayed here multiple times and have ALWAYS had a great experience. The view is simply beautiful and peaceful. The home is nicely laid out with plenty of space and privacy for each room. There is certainly a 'wow' factor when you walk into the living area. A nice flow. Close to town but feel like you are miles away. Thank you Stewart for all the details placed in your home and for always going the extra mile. We wanted a cozy and close place to stay while visiting family. The house was perfect and we enjoyed being at a house in tne neighborhood versus a hotel. Would definitely stay again!

I had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb in downtown Birmingham! The location was perfect—right near the heart of the city, close to great restaurants, coffee shops, and attractions. The space itself was clean, stylish, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host Raquel was excellent—responsive, friendly, and made check-in and check-out a breeze. She also provided great local recommendations, which made my trip even better. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Birmingham

This was the perfect location to explore Birmingham’s downtown or the suburbs. You are minutes from great restaurants and bars by walking or driving. The biggest pros were the location, safety, peacefulness, comfortable bed, relaxing space, and parking. The gated parking was easy to use and convenient, and there was ample street parking as well if you need it. The Mason Homes team sent great instructions for checking in and out. Since this was an international trip for us, a few amenities could have made it even better. However, we have no complaints. We also loved having a full-size washer and dryer in the unit. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will try to book this property or one of the others the next time I visit Birmingham. I definitely recommend

This is an apartment in a beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. The area is very quiet. Despite being a basement apartment I rarely heard footsteps upstairs, and when I did it wasn’t loud or obtrusive. The host was friendly , and the instructions for the room were clear and helpful. The washing machine was clean and worked well. Note that the only window is the frosted one in the door, so if you need windows then this may not be your best option. I’d stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the beautiful little apartment. The space was spotless, smelled great, and bigger than the pictures on the listing show. The bed is really comfortable. The location is perfect if you are visiting UAB or in the area for an athletics event there. Loved the accessibility of the fitness room on the same floor and having a washer and dryer. Was too cold to enjoy any of the outdoor amenities, but they looked amazing. Faith is a proactive communicator and very responsive. Would definitely consider staying here again if we are visiting Birmingham. The only drawback for us is that we enjoy cooking our own meals and the cookware and available utensils is very sparse. More like what you would find in a studio hotel with a small kitchen area than a fully functional kitchen. The appliances are good, just not much available in the way of preparing home-cooked meals or storing leftovers.

New and very clean! Bed was so comfy and they had bowls and treats set out for our pup. Nice balcony with pretty view. Literally across the parking lot from Oak Mountain amphitheater. Close to everything the town has to offer. Would stay again

Suzanne’s suite was spectacular, spectacular. Decorated with a keen eye for antiques and flair. There isn’t a dull corner in the space. The spiral staircase going up to the suite reminded me of apartments in NYC. Suzanne was kind and easy to talk to and I felt safe in her space, and the area, to stay with my husband and baby. We would absolutely stay here again! We loved it!

The place was charming and clean. The location was convenient and the hosts were very attentive. We really enjoyed the view from the bedroom and balcony. Overall a great stay!

We had a wonderful time at the log cabin. Peaceful, relaxing and exactly what we were looking for this holiday. The property is gorgeous. The cabin has incredible character while being still comfortable and having the amenities we needed. We found hiking trails just 10 minutes away at Double Oak. Best of all, it was quality time spent enjoying our boys and our pup.

Host was responsive and helpful. Cabin had everything we could need and the property was beautiful!

Place was great and perfect for large families. Well within anything you’d want to do in the B’Ham area and in a very safe neighborhood. Be aware that the other reviews of the driveway are indeed correct-it is VERY STEEP-but had no issues whatsoever with street parking below. There is also a staircase leading down to the street. Host was available each time we had a question, quick to respond and very friendly. Highly recommended!! K thx bye

Me and my friend last minute got on Airbnb and found the postcard cabins! It was the best decision! I love hiking and being outdoors and it’s an easy drive to the Pinhoti trail! The postcard cabins was so clean and such a fun experience. I appreciated how welcoming they were to my dog Leo as well! We especially enjoyed the fire pit and how the postcard cabins came prepared with anything you need! I LOVED It! Definitely recommend to anyone needing a quick nature getaway!
