This was a great experience, in a comfortable cabin. We loved the countryside location and so opportunity to walk from front door into forest by lakeside. That also meant a great view of Northern Lights from our backyard when the sky was clear. Local highlights like Siida and Sajos were a short drive away, and Tuula gave some good hints for walks in and around Inari. Best of all were our hosts. Tuula and Matti, you made us warmly welcome. We had unforgettable experiences spending time with the reindeer, learning about your lives, and the story of your home. Thank you for your kindness throughout our stay.

Lover’s Lake Retreat was the perfect winter getaway. We watched the Northern Lights from the frozen lake and enjoyed the Finnish sauna on the cold nights. The cabin is well equipped and stays toasty warm all through the night. Pumping water from the lake was easier than expected, and the fire places were easy to operate. This Airbnb is fabulous if you’re looking for an authentic Nordic experience. We felt like we didn’t need to book too many excursions because the cabin had so much to do.

We had a great time in this cottage! The location directly at the river is great and also the cottage itself is great! It is way more modern than we expected and we loved that style of traditional design combined with modern things! The highlight is the whirlpool where we spent a lot of time and even saw the northern lights from there 2 times. The only thing that could be better is more towels but it seems to be a Finnish thing that you get very few towels. But that’s only a small detail. We can highly recommend this cottage and would definitely come back!

Excellent house in a magnificent location. Beautiful, high quality fittings and amenities. The accommodation was superior form a 5 star hotel in an exclusive ski resort. The hosts were brilliant, extremely accommodating and helpful. They provided very clear instructions and even picked us up from the airport and gave us detailed tour of the house and recommendations for local escapes. Very highly recommended for couples that want to enjoy their peace, quiet and Aurora borealis every night. Looking forward to visiting next yer

Maria’s place is clean and with everything, she is easy to communicate and provide assistance at a glance. Her place is very close to the beach, which is a good place for northern lights and I saw two nights in a row as well, strongly recommended!

We had a great romantic stay at Jaakko's chalet. Everything worked perfectly. The sauna is a must. We were lucky to see the northern lights just in front of our chalet, above the lake. Truly a great experience. 100% recommended.

We travel a lot and book our accommodations here, but this house definitely belongs in our top 5. Wonderfully quiet location, the forest for long walks right outside and yet central, so within a few minutes you have everything you need, shopping, refueling, eating out. The communication with Markku was exemplary, in the house there is a folder that explains everything with pictures. The size of the house is wonderful, there is a sauna and also a washing machine and dryer which is really convenient with such a big trip. We could see the northern lights directly from the house and also to Inari (see the Wildernes Church) it was only 30 minutes by car. Small tip - just north before Ivalo there is a small zoo, definitely there. See animals and feed reindeer. We were very happy with the house all around and thank you to Markku as a great host.

It was my first time in Lapland, and spending a night in this igloo was an unforgettable experience. Everything was perfectly organized thanks to Anni, who was an amazing host. His warm welcome, attention to detail, and availability made this moment even more special. The igloo was not only beautiful and comfortable, but also ideally located to take full advantage of the magic of the place. Thanks to Anni for her hospitality and for making this experience so memorable. I recommend it 100%!
