Family-friendly vacation rentals in Senegal

We had a WONDERFUL stay at this beautiful villa, ideally located in a clean, secure, flowery and peaceful residence. The environment is perfect for relaxing, with the beach nearby and a swimming pool... feet in the water!!!!! The house itself is spacious and well arranged, with quality services. The size of the rooms is perfectly suited to the number of people accommodated, and the outside is a haven of peace where life is good. A big thank you to Marie, the housekeeper, who was very nice and responsive, especially for preparing meals. Their attentions contributed a lot to our comfort. Finally, the exchanges with Laurence, the owner, were fluid and fast, which made our experience even more enjoyable. This villa is, without a doubt, for us the best placed to fully enjoy the exceptional setting. It feels like home, and we can't wait to go back!

What an incredible stay in this beautiful house, staff of a kindness and benevolence that is very much appreciated and Nathanaël who is very attentive to offer the best possible stay on the island of Ngor. Michel, owner of the property, is very pleasant and welcoming. We are fortunate to visit and enjoy an environment with a lot of art objects from Michel's travels around the world. I can only thank the whole team for being so attentive, especially with small touches to make the stay perfect. An art gallery is also right next to the house. You will enjoy breathtaking views with each crossing on the house's private boat, at any time of day, evening or night. I can only recommend this place to visit Dakar if you want calm, beautiful surroundings. Great value for money

This is now our “home” away from home. This is our 5th visit to Joel ‘s beautiful and peaceful place, like our sanctuary, waken up by the sound of the birds in the morning and enjoying the blue and clean water of swimming pool. We barely needed to get out of the house and when we did, the beach was just few minutes away. There is no other place we trust to fit our needs better than Joel’s house. We are already planning our next trip and cannot wait for it soon.

Am & Amadou are very nice hosts, very hospitable and accessible! We (husband, wife, son and sister) have enjoyed the beautiful large private garden with various seats and beautiful objects made by Am, the nice rooms and fine kitchen and showers. A very atmospheric Senegalese accommodation with every comfort. Saint Louis is a beautiful not too busy historic city. The center is easy/quick to reach by taxi. In the immediate vicinity are several grocers and Senegalese restaurants. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful, secure, and well maintained oasis! Our family stayed for months. The host is responsive and provides premier hospitality. Absolutely enjoyed our time here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Angela’s place. Angela is very responsive and the house guardian, Abdoulaye was extremely helpful. Starting at my airport pickup, every request was answered. I didn’t realize how far Dakar is from the home, but Abdoulaye ensured I had a driver whenever I wanted to go anywhere. Location, location, location!! This house is literally on the beach. The view is amazing. I loved watching the fishermen out on the water and seeing the kids playing. I should also note that the WiFi works wonderfully. Overall, I loved my stay. Thank you Angela!

We had a great 2 week stay at Maimouna villa. A functional , well-equipped accommodation with a garden and swimming pool; very appreciated with the heat . Our heartfelt thanks to Ali the caretaker , for his availability and presence and the unmissable Hadj Babou for his many services and exceptional kindness.

A very pleasant stay in Somone, there were 12 of us and we did not lack space, in the house as in the pool!!! And how not to mention Magou and Morcoumba who made our life sweet and easy... Morcoumba's kitchen is really delicious!

very nice apartment true to the listing photos, well located for tourist sites.. beautiful quiet terrace, a very nice caretaker who gives good advice as needed. Fabienne is a attentive and patient host 😆😉 i recommend it without fail .....

Friendly little house. Everything it takes for a small stay. The estate pool is nice and quiet.

The house is absolutely beautiful , perfect for a family holiday. Quiet and surrounded by birds, you'll have plenty of time to relax or enjoy the pool. 5min by car from the main road, less than 10min from the Lagune. Special shoutout to Moussa who is super nice and helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!

An unforgettable stay in a beautiful Home! Everything was perfect: the hospitality, the comfort, and especially the presence of Alpha, the caretaker, who was exceptional. Always available, smiling and attentive — a real plus for the stay. The beach is only a 10-minute walk away, and the environment is peaceful and pleasant. Shops and restaurants are just a stone's throw away, everything is within easy reach. I recommend this house without a second thought!

I would recommend the place to friends and family. Brigitte place is at walkable distance from just about everything in Saly, also very quiet and safe.

We had a lovely stay at this villa. The villa is very well arranged, the garden is beautiful, well maintained and relaxing... Benjamin and Salie are adorable, Benjamin is always available when needed and Salie is radiant. We'll be back:)

We had a perfect stay at Raphaèle and Fabienne's. The accommodation is functional, pretty, pleasant. The ocean view is fabulous. The pool is very nice. Rosalie cooked us delicious Senegalese meals, and was always very attentive and friendly. Gorgui planned beautiful excursions for us, always in a good mood. Finally, Jean was very available for the few small requests we may have had. This place is a gem in one of the prettiest and nicest villages on the small coast. Not to be missed. Thank you!

A host with a warm welcome, full of good advice and always ready to be of service. Nice house, well located 7 minutes walk to the beach, local shops and 4 km to the center of Saly (we walked there regularly). In short, we stayed for two months and we weren't in a hurry to leave!
