It was a great experience staying there. The location inside the forest is a dream, the spaces are very well designed and it offers everything one can ask for. Moreover the communication with the owner was very friendly and clear with no surprises or any problems. All in all a very easy recommendation for anyone looking for to stay in the area, a place you will remember.

The Paya Paya Villa was the perfect accommodation for our adult family's annual holiday (four pairs of adults). Each couple had their own well appointed beautiful bedroom and ensuite giving them their own space within the Villa whilst the outside area and open living room allowed us all to come together for meals, card games, massages and drinks by the pool. The Villa is exactly as described and the images do not express the peaceful feel and generous proportions of the home. The location was central to a diverse range of restaurants (recommend Lilo Indonesian Comfort Food & the Italian Restaurant); medical/pharmacy; "corner" store; and walking/scooter distance from Seminyak shopping district, the beach and Potato Heads. The Villa staff, Arie, Made, Yulis, Made and Ketut allowed us to easily enjoy what Bali had to offer and made our stay so memorable. We cannot thank them enough for all they did for us. It was very difficult to leave such an incredible country and people.

A great stay. It’s listed as an entire home, however it’s a bedroom at the back of their garden which we didn’t realise. It does say on the info that it’s shared, but we booked in a rush and didn’t read properly so that was our fault. It also means there wasn’t much space in the fridge to keep our things. And it’s a bit awkward to find as it’s down a back road. However the host and her family were all very pleasant and helpful. With a very cute puppy! Cannot fault it as a home stay. It was lovely. However it’s not an entire home as listed.

Love the view! Even though the villa is right next to the rice field, we didn't experience any insects or mosquito problems. The rooms were quite spacious, the bathtubs were nice, although lack of water pressure for the shower. Ayu, the staff, was really kind and helpful. The location is close to lots of great cafes, our favorite was Joon Canggu and Nude.

Joan's villa was the perfect place to call home for our 7 day stay. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with excellent hospitality with Ibu organising an early checkin for us due to an early flight. Ibu and her brother (who offered to drive us to many different places) met us at the villa and welcomed us with amazing kindness. The villa itself had an amazing location with places to buy groceries and water as well as beautiful restaurants very close by. It also is very easy to access. Both Joan and Ibu were very helpful throughout our stay, replying to any questions we had with quick and kind responses, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We also felt safe the entire time in this villa which is a big thing for me and my partner while travelling. Overall, I couldn't recommend this villa enough (especially with the price) and thank Ibu, her brother and Joan for making our trip to bali so beautiful, easy and comfortable.

Had the best time at AIR. The apartment is so much bigger than expected and really comfortable. The location is great for the centre of Ubud while being out of the way enough to also be quiet. But by far the best thing was the interaction with other guests and the community vibe AIR has - breakfast conversations and evening hang outs (while feeling totally at ease being able to have my own space when needed). Whether you’re a creative or not, this place felt so welcoming.

Very modern and new place. The staff is very helpful and attentive too. Location is close and easy get to restaurants and cafe in Ulu by 5 mins motorbike. It’s a pleasant stay in Lighthouse. I’d recommend this place for people who visit Ulu.

Absolutely lovely hosts. Very warm, helpful and accommodating. Comfortable, clean and cozy accommodation. Very highly recommended! My father and Uncle stayed here and had a wonderful time. Note from my father: Fantastic homemade yogurt, fresh fruit and generous serving size. Very friendly & competent (non-intrusive) personnel. +10 out of 10 on my scale (grumpy old man). The location right on the beach was really beautiful! We were in bed and could hear the sea, the view from the balcony was great and thanks to the surfers the beach had a really cool vibe!

Nyoman is a very caring and cool host. I came to Ubud for the first time, but I was so happy. He cleaned right away and accepted feedback right away. And he always tried to communicate with me and gave me a lot of information. He’s a very honest man to know. There will be good accommodation and delicious food. I’ll be back next year. Thank you for your kind service. This place is the best! ❤️❤️❤️

It’s a nice place with friendly staff. Pool and shared kitchen. The WiFi isn’t the best sometimes and there is a dog that barks a lot next door. Overall a pretty good place

It’s a beautifull private house just 7 minutes by bike from ubud centre. Very peaceful and felt like home. We had a great weekend - thanks to Ketut and Made. They were very accommodating and friendly. Gave us lots of recommendations. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you.

This was a beautiful place to stay, close enough to Ubud downtown but away from all the hustle and bustle. The cabin itself is gorgeous, the bed was comfy. Highlight was definitely the gorgeous pool, and the friendly staff who were around to help with everything, provide daily cleaning, bring coffee etc. The property has 3 beautiful cabins, I would suggest if you are a super light sleeper to go with one of the other two cabins as this one is the closest to the road so can be a bit noisier, however with earplugs I slept fine. Adi and Frances were amazing hosts who were very responsive, and helped organize a visit to the elephant sanctuary which was a highlight of my trip! I am a solo female traveler felt really safe in this neighbourhood, I enjoyed walking around the area, visiting the snack stands and the local cafe (Piduh Charity Cafe). This is a great pick for travellers who want to experience Bali in a more authentic way! I would 100% come back!

Everything was good, some of the staff didn’t speak much English. Everyone tried their best. Outdoor Spa/massage was amazing

The place was great! Definitely made us feel relaxed and service was excellent! The butler, Made, was extremely helpful and informative. I loved waking up in the morning to the sound of birds and monkeys playing on the trees right infront of the terrace. It was definitely a good place to take a break when you come a thriving city. Would’ve been nice if they had more bamboo huts like these so my friends and I can stay in the same place together. Breakfast was delicious too! Only downside was the hot water was not working in the jacuzzi so I didn’t get to enjoy it much. But it wasn’t a major issue.
