Monthly Rentals in Selton

As advertised, clean, quiet cabin on the water. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, including a bonfire that we could have had in the fire pit. Perfect view of the sunset on the little deck about 10 meters from the shore. We let the waves of the St. Lawrence River lull us to sleep after an exquisite gourmet meal at a restaurant just 5 minutes down the 1000 Islands Parkway. Waking up to a view of the water, watching swans and geese and ducks right from our bed was medicine for the soul. The bathroom is small and simple but serves its purpose. Having a full kitchen meant that we were able to make breakfast before heading home after a nice little getaway. We only stayed one night but we’d love to stay again!

It fit my purposes perfectly as I was just spending the night before fishing on Charleston Lake the next day, 2 minutes from the boat launch. It’s in a really beautiful spot and is very cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the heater made quick work of the morning chill. The fire pit area is excellent. The unit itself is a strange mix of modern and not. There is no running or hot water, you have to pump water with a handle from large bottles under the sink. The toilet definitely takes some getting used to. Would stay again if I’m in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheri’s. The place was clean and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check in super easy. Would definitely recommend!!

We spent a long weekend here to enjoy the Thousand Islands area. The house is well situated for that. The house was clean and had all the conveniences of home. We loved it!
