Monthly Rentals in Selattyn

This is a beautiful detached house within the grounds of a larger detached property from which you share a car parking space. The house is well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised with the welcome gift on our arrival. The bedroom was huge and the bed was very comfortable. The lounge area was cosy. There is a small courtyard at the back of the property which got very little sun as the majority of the sun was at the front of the property (near the car parking spaces) which was not very private. As the property is close by to the church and a local primary school, expect some chimes from the church bells and noise from the school children during their breaks. We had a wonderful stay exploring the area and overall we were happy with our choice of accommodation.

What a fabulous place to stay! Lovely taste of heritage luxury. Bed comfortable. Showers hot. WiFi good. TV small but worked well. Everything very clean and tidy and as described. Downstairs lounge comfortable, a little chilly in early February but we should have asked louise to help us to light the real fire to supplement the central heating instead of just enjoying the cosy throws! Upstairs fine and husband absolutely loved the easy to use sauna each evening. Lovely meal at the Ye olde Boote pub - best to book a table Fri/Sat nights but they seemed able to squeeze people in. Castle nice nearby walk - sadly cafe being refurbished during our stay but would normally be convenient. Premier shop short walk away, seemed to sell every basic foodstuff you could need, not gourmet deli stuff but very useful. We visited British Ironworking Centre, Llangollen Museum, Pontycysllte Viaduct, Hoffmann kiln lime works heritage area in Llanymynech and Chirk Castle to see snowdrops. All great places

Lovely place, everything had been thought of, ideal for me and my wife and our puppy with the enclosed garden. Very private and peaceful, local pubs great, we ate at The Butchers Arms, dog friendly in the bar, good food and very reasonable. Waterfalls were worth a drive, good advice regarding parking from Graham 👍

We had a lovely stay in Nick’s little cottage. It was very cosy, we had a fire every evening and there are ducks and chickens on your doorstep. We would say it’s essential to come via car if you would like to get into town. Chirck castle is very near and we enjoyed visiting Plas Newydd which is another historical house in Llangollen. Easy communication and lots of privacy and respect. We would recommend Nick’s place for a few nights if you are looking for an escape. Thank you!
