The old barn in Segnitz by Peter & Xenia is really a very special and beautiful apartment! - Actually the best we've had so far! For people who want to visit Würzburg, Lower Franconia, rustic wine villages & Co., the place Segnitz is well located. You can reach many cities worth seeing in 15-30 minutes by car. We were personally and very kindly welcomed and given a small tour of the apartment. We also had a short chat and there were tips for the area on top! The apartment was spacious, bright, modern, beautifully decorated and furnished and equipped with high quality, without much knickknacks. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated, the bathrooms equipped with towels and a cot and high chair were provided for our daughter. The kitchen has everything you need and even more than the standard requires to be able to take good care of yourself on vacation. We will be happy to come back again!

Astrid was an exceptional host—kind, attentive, and incredibly helpful. During my stay, I experienced a medical emergency, and she went above and beyond to assist me, even accompanying me to the pharmacy since I don’t speak German. What truly touched me was how she checked in on me over the following days—a gesture that showed genuine care. Her home was absolutely lovely: beautifully kept, cozy, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, whether short or long-term. The stunning water views and nearby beer garden added to the charm. While the house was impeccably clean, it’s worth noting there’s no microwave (the oven works just fine!). For groceries, dm and Rewe are about 2km away, easily accessible by bus. Out of all the Airbnbs I’ve stayed in, this was by far my best experience. I only wish I could’ve stayed longer! I can’t recommend Astrid’s place enough—it’s truly special.

Spent a week there as a family with a 2-year-old child. There was an extra travel crib there. There was nothing missing. Extra access. Fast and easy communication. We'd love to come back next time.
