Vacation rentals in Schwyz District

First of all, the house was very warm and sweet. It was spotless. It was very handy to have a table and chair in front of the house to smoke. The kitchen had pots, glasses, cleaning supplies, food and many more. Although there was snow outside, we never got cold in the house. Her bathroom had towels and lots of cleaning supplies. We also had no trouble getting into the house. I wish we could've stayed longer. The view was so beautiful that I loved it. The host was also a very understanding and sweet woman. Thank you…🥹🤍

The place is cozy and just as described. Even though it is a small space it was a perfect stay with everything we needed. Our host was quick to respond and was super helpful with recommendations and with helping my husband clear out the snow. We will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and loved the location! It’s a simple space but that’s all you really need in Switzerland. The host gave very helpful instructions that allowed us to find the place easily.

Dear Brigitte and dear Sepp are two warm hosts who find a perfect mix of "we are there for you" and "we will not get on your nerves". At least that's very important to us. There were four of us with 2 children 10 and 12 years old for two days. Lots of little nice touches rounded off our stay: - Small Swiss chocolate at the table - Fresh milk from your own cows - own jam of your own strawberries - Fresh yeast braid on a Saturday 😊 - small farm shop The three spacious bedrooms with over-long duvets have made for a relaxing night. Since the house is right on the street, we allowed the windows at night, which was not a problem for us at all. Well-stocked kitchen with large refrigerator and delicious clean raclette and fondue. We felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the apartment and would be happy to come a second time. Best regards from Germany

Stunning views! Great hiking right out the door. The cows with their bells kept us company! Well equipped kitchen, sauna was great, comfortable sofas. The house is very old but has been well renovated. One thing to note is that the ceiling height is low - we are not very tall so it was not a problem for us. If you are over 6’ you will need to be careful not to hit your head.

We loved staying in Beate’s lovely Swiss chalet apartment on Lake Luzern. The apartment was clean, well stocked, very cozy & had an amazing view of the lake & mountains. The beds were very comfortable & the shower had plenty of hot water. Beate was an incredible host! She is kind & gave us tons of travel ideas & practical tips. Her warmth & generosity made our stay fantastic! The town of Gersau was an excellent base for our month long stay. There were plenty of buses & the Swiss lake boats regularly stopped in Gersau. There was an excellent train hub in Brunnen which was a ten minute drive from Gersau. There was a good little Volg grocery store in town as well as lots of restaurants. Gersau was a great base for hiking opportunities & day trips. Beate had a lot of wonderful day trip suggestions. This was by far one of our most favorite Airbnb stays…ever! Beate, Gersau & her beautiful chalet apartment are true Swiss gems.

We booked this place to get to know the canton of Schwyz and the central location made us be in all the corners of this canton in less than 45 minutes. The accommodation is fantastically furnished with everything you need for a longer vacation. Thanks to the quiet location in the agricultural area, we were able to sleep very well and relax well. Shopping is available in the village or at the nearby shopping centers. In the top 3 of the best accommodations we have been able to enjoy in Switzerland so far.

beautiful, large apartment with a minimalistic design and everything we needed for our baby to feel right at home. very clean and just easy, relaxing and comfortable. we will come back at some point. home would work for a small family like ours all the way to a family with 3 children. if adults are staying then there is 4 sleeping spots in bedrooms and another 2 on the sofa bed. easy walking access to great restaurants and a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains. the parking spot is 2 blocks away, but an easy walk.
