Great hospitality, both from a distance and on site. The cottage is clean and cozy and has everything you need. The fully fenced large natural garden is a dream for dogs and due to the location on the outskirts of the village to field and pond also mega for reactive dogs or difficult candidates. Direct access from the garden to the field ensures stress-free walks. Thank you, we will definitely come back! 😊

Beautiful little house in a very quiet location. In the house you will find everything needed for a vacation. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, lying everywhere and just the right little things. A great garden for the children, beautiful hikes possible, with a stopover in rustic restaurants. We have been there in spring and winter so far. We hope to try autumn and summer. Highly recommended!

We had a great time with a dog in Manuel's place for two. There was even a welcome treat and the fenced garden was great for a relaxing stay. The district is very small, but we were on the road every day anyway. The area is great for hiking or model flying, which is why we were there. The house is equipped with everything you need, we didn't miss anything. The built-in oven impressed us very much and makes cool evenings super cozy. Communication with Manuel was straightforward, although no in-person contact was made, which we a little regretted, but that's a matter of taste. Nevertheless, it was a very friendly and pleasant contact. Will be happy to come back if we go back to the Rhön. A really nice spot in Germany :-)

We had a very nice stay at Carla's place. We especially enjoyed the super equipped kitchen and the large amounts of toys for children of all ages.

The old half-timbered house is modernly renovated and furnished inside. Just like the pictures. Beautiful sauna. Everything nice and clean, very comfortable beds. We liked the possibility of having a large table for all 10 people in both the dining room and the outdoor area. Really great!!! And the nice "little things" almost "big things" that are available at the reception should not be, but that makes you feel warmly welcome. I can fully recommend the house.

A Home Away from Home – 10 Stars If We Could! Our stay at Mrs. Heidi and Mr. Herbert’s home in Nuremberg this January was beyond exceptional. As first-time exhibitors at the trade fair, we were new to the city, but their warmth, kindness, and incredible hospitality made all the difference. The home itself was impeccably maintained, and to our surprise, the kitchen was fully stocked —making us feel even more at home. they personally ensured that our entire floor was cleaned daily with the utmost care. Such dedication and generosity are truly rare! Me and my two sons are deeply touched by their thoughtfulness and the genuine care they extended to us. Their home exudes warmth, comfort, an experience we will cherish forever. We cannot thank them enough for support. If we could, we would give them 10 stars! We had a great vacation! The apartment was very well equipped, clean and there is everything you need for a pleasant stay. The surroundings are quiet and just a short walk to the charming old village of Dettelbach, where we even found Doggie ice cream for our pooch, awesome !!!! Louie is very nice and helpful and communication was excellent. But the icing on the cake was the heated pool which is very clean and well maintained . We very much recommend this place for short or longer stays. Thanks Louie :-)

This was a class stay with everything you need. I can't think of anything to criticize. The accommodation is a self-contained, stylish building with conservatory, covered terrace, fireplace , possibility to use pool and sauna, all well furnished, modern bathroom, separate toilet. The peace is heavenly. Both for self-catering and for those who want to explore Franconian cuisine. With tips and recommendations, the hosts can always serve. Hospitality is still paramount to these. The ideal location to also explore the World Heritage Site from here, e.g. in Würzburg, Bamberg, Nuremberg, etc. For us, a completely successful stay and a top recommendation

We had very pleasant days. The house was perfectly furnished, we lacked nothing. Balcony and living room offer a beautiful south view of the meadows and fields in front of the house. The quiet location in the small town invites you to small and large hikes. If you get into the car, you can reach the famous sights of the Rhön in 10 to 30 minutes, such as the Milsburg, the Wasserkuppe, the Schwarze Moor, Bishofsheim and the Gangolfsberg. Our 5-day stay in this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The decor was not only beautiful, but also very tasteful and immediately gave us a feeling of home. Particularly noteworthy is the sauna, which turned our stay into a relaxing oasis. The apartment was always clean, which shows how much value the landlady places on cleanliness and comfort. We were greeted with loving care that we so rarely experience. The landlady herself was incredibly warm and always took care of our well-being. The location of the apartment in a quiet and relaxing area perfectly rounded off our vacation. Here you could really switch off and relax. We highly recommend this stay and would come back any time. We wanted a quiet place with good parking for the car and a place for the dog to run. That was a given. The fact that there were no shops did not bother us. We brought everything back from the excursions. The apartment is quite well equipped in terms of kitchen technology.

It was my first experience with a tiny house and I was thrilled. Very stylish and functional furnishings, I would come back anytime. With the bus stop outside the door, I was super fast downtown. And also the pizzeria across the street makes very tasty pizza. All in all 3 wonderful days in Bamberg. Thank you very much

We felt very comfortable with Ramona and Frank, the house is very cozy and we didn't miss anything. My feather allergy was responded to superbly and the contact was also very warm. We know Ilmenau quite well, but there was also a lot of information about the region and tips from the hosts. I especially like that everything is animal-friendly. We will be happy to come back! We were satisfied with everything, recovered well and the fenced property for our dog was very nice. The only thing missing in the description was that the stairs were very inconvenient for dogs...but not bad, we slept downstairs. The cottage is very modern, for us already much too good😅 maybe you could get new cutlery and the chairs are too low for the table, or the table too high for the chairs.
