Here you will find peace and greenery. Lots of opportunities to explore Friesland. Very spacious farmhouse with lots of living space. A big garden for outdoor play: badminton, trampoline, swings. Lots of sunny sitting areas from the garden and rooms overlook the meadows. Before booking, please review the house rules.

Lyts Kastieltsje, a quiet cottage in an orchard

Lyts Kastieltsje is a short walk from the Waddenzee, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest tidal area on Earth. The cottage was once part of the cooling barn for the old fruit farm. It is surrounded by just over a hectare of gardens, orchards and meadow which provide a home for our three sheep, bees and many species of birds. The orchards contain plum, quince, medlar and different varieties of apple and pear trees. We also share the place our dog Jack, 10 ducks and some chickens.
