We were perfectly hosted by Claude. She is a very responsive, flexible host and the accommodation was perfectly prepared upon arrival. Very pleasant stay in this small cottage very well furnished, with everything, including food! Very discreet hosts but very attentive to well-being. Peaceful and serene setting that we would be happy to see again during a future stay!

Thank you very much for all the information she gave me. In addition, we arrived at 10.30 p.m. because my niece was taking care of her pony (which was in an unknown box for the competition in Pompadour) and the lady was worried about not seeing us arrive (and she was right because we couldn't find the house). We only stayed one night but slept well. Recommended.

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.
