Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sault Ste. Marie

Phil was a great host and responded quickly to our texts. He had bread and fresh eggs waiting for us. We enjoyed walking the premises, lots to see. I especially like woken up by a rooster. It’s a very peaceful and quaint home. Check-in was easy.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

Of the thirty or so AirBnbs we have stayed at, this is surely one of the nicest. The kitchen and bathrooms are as well-stocked as your own home. Every kitchen appliance you might want is available. There are even good quality kitchen knives. Every shelf and drawer is labeled with the contents. The house was sparkling clean. The host responded instantly to inquiries. We highly recommend Philip's place if you are visiting the Soo.

This was by far one of the best experiences I had. Christopher and his wife were not only accommodating but went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. They were sweet, and always available if I had any questions or needed any information about my area. I would highly recommend staying at the garden house and hope to return when I visit again!

The cabin is in a beautiful setting on the river . Eagles flew by every day . Very peaceful.

Loved the cottage! Amazing place for a family vacay with small kiddos. Our son LOVED the beach and all the toys. Hosts were super responsive with any questions. Was a great vacay! Thanks so much for hosting us!

Excellent house and location for our ATV/Side by Side riding group. There was plenty of parking for us to park trucks and trailers and unload. The owners have a nice wide drive way going back in the woods and a clearly marked sign by the road for us to find the location. Trails were easily accessible for us to take off and go trail riding from the house without having to trailer to a designated parking lot. The house was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Great property to stay at!

We stayed at Pond #8 which was a short drive from the main resort. We didn’t use any of the resort amenities because we enjoyed our cabin so much! The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s the perfect wilderness getaway. The staff at check in/out were very friendly. We will definitely be coming back and staying longer.

Hugh's house on the lake is lovely. It is quite private, and very peaceful. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, it would be comfortable for six adults (or a family), though we were only two and two dogs. Great for the latter, with a fence on large outdoor deck and another fenced in area on side of house. Of course, being right on the water with a private beach is what makes Hugh's property so special. If you want a peaceful vacation, this is the place.

Carla was very accommodating in this stay, will be coming back in the near future.

I had the most relaxing and lovely stay. Jane’s place is beautiful and in the most beautiful and pristine location. Close to Sault Sainte Marie and right on a beautiful day I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The bed was super comfortable.

We have stayed and Joe's place on numerous occasions on our trips from Toronto up to Northern Ontario. The place is so comfortable and it is well equipped with everything you will need for an enjoyable stay. The mattresses are great (very important to us). The home is located in a very quiet neighbourhood, and very close to restaurants, metro grocery store, Tim Hortons, and the waterfront. We will be back.

Fantastic place! SO comfortable. Well equipped, great location, quiet, and did I mention comfortable? Literally the only bad thing I can say about this place is that we didn't stay longer (we were just stopping overnight)! Highly recommended.

My wife and kids stayed here for a short weekend, the cabin was awesome, the whole family enjoyed the sauna. Cabin was clean and very comfortable. We would love to return.

We stayed in this house August 23rd through the 25th. The rooms in the house are spacious and laid out nicely. We have no complaints about the cleanliness. It was as anyone should expect. It has its own propane grill out on the back deck. Nice level fire pit to sit around. Private backyard. I would like to add if you deal with tahquamenon suits lodging you're dealing with great people. On the first day going up we had a medical issue with my mom. We nearly had to cancel our trip. We were already past the time for a cancellation refund. I called them from the hospital. The amazing woman I talked to said no worries we will take care of it. Eased our minds. Can't thank them enough! 😘
