A romantic, stylish and cosy cottage for two in the beautiful Lake District National Park, half a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere and a 20 minute drive from Junction 36 of the M6. We are dog friendly. Our 250 year old cottage features modern rustic decor, u/f heating, log burner, super-fast internet, Smart TV, Sonos sound system and a complimentary podPoint 7kw EV charger. There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

The property is split up over three floors, with a bespoke kitchen diner on the ground floor, an open plan living room with window seats, a log burner and a modern tv for relaxing, then the tope floor provides the bedroom with large en-suite style bathroom that’s quirkily decorated to offer a truly unique stay.

Beautiful annexe to historic grade 2-listed property. Tastefully decorated, with a stunning bedroom and bath/ shower room, commanding views across a lovely garden. Downstairs, the hall leads into a fully equipped kitchen and the living/ dining room, with patio doors that open out onto a pebbled seating area. Ideally located, with a gentle stroll down to Coniston Water and a bridle path above leading to the fells and Coniston Old Man. Half a mile from the village and opposite the Ship Inn.

The Lake District and our new one bedroom cottage is all you need for a perfect getaway and holiday. It has all the amenities you would require and is perfectly located to explore as much of the area as you desire. We are located in the quiet, rural area of the Rusland Valley within driving distance of all scenic areas including Grizedale, Coniston, Ambleside & Windermere, and are surrounded by fields and woodland providing a fantastic location for cycling and walking holidays.

Fancy getting away from it all? Then you have found the right place. A little piece of paradise on earth with uninterrupted views of Grizedale woodland. I only book guests with previous good reviews (at least 2). No pets allowed. Maximum of 6 people (including infants). Please note the location is REMOTE, no shops are near (25 min drive to Co-op in Hawkshead), but there is a pub 5 min drive away in Satterthwaite. You are not far from Grizedale Centre, Coniston or Windermere.

Camping Barn, Abbot Park Farm

Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.

Rusland Retreat

Rusland Retreat is on the first floor of a barn conversion nestled in an elevated position in the hamlet of Oxen Park, in the beautiful Rusland Valley. The accommodation is perfect for a luxurious romantic retreat or as a base for outdoor activities. With immediate access to walking and cycling and an abundance of wildlife. Situated within the Lake District National Park, we are an easy 10 minute drive to Coniston Water and 15 minutes to Windermere.

Unique, 3 bedroom, ex-forester's cottage in the idyllic, small village of Satterthwaite, within Grizedale Forest Park. Ideal for those seeking the thrill of mountain biking or the peaceful, quiet enjoyment of the stunningly beautiful area and dark skies. There is free parking for two vehicles and undercover storage for several bicycles. The Eagles Head pub is a short walk away. Hawkshead village, 4 miles away, has a Coop, shops and pubs.
