Location, location, location! Ilene and Al’s place was exactly what we were looking for… a private beach for our family (that includes fur babies) AND a pool! Just like we imagined and similar to our stay in Hawaii. Al and Ilene’s place is as described in the listing and focuses on the surroundings vs the accommodations. The cottage is comfortable and quaint and meets basic needs for two people, but this property is all about the very rare private beach and beautiful surroundings that are quickly disappearing from coastal FL due to the overtaking commercial properties. Get it while you can and enjoy this rare gem… it won’t be here forever!

What a lovely place to stay! Sandra and her daughter were always warm, welcoming and helpful. My dog loved the yard, and the surroundings were so peaceful. The apartment has everything we needed and more.

We loved our stay here! Would highly recommend to anyone staying around the area. Has all the amenities you could ever possibly need and the host was super attentive. 10/10!

We had a great time staying at Lubos's place in Sarasota. Communication was great! We were close to siesta key which was great also. Pool area is awesome. Very private. We saw Lubos only a few times, but he was so kind and helpful.

This spot is a treasure - peaceful, comfortable, nice neighborhood. The professionalism and kindness of Stephanie and Mike was the icing on the cake!

Susan's guest house is in a quiet neighborhood, yet convenient to everything. The pictures on the website are accurate; the house is comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. There is a lovely private and fenced patio/yard that we enjoyed relaxing in with coffee in the mornings. The AC/heat unit was essentially silent, and worked great. Susan was friendly and quickly responsive to anything we needed. If we go back to Sarasota, I will definitely try to book Susan's house again.

We had a really nice three-night stay with our two dogs. The space is super cute and comfortable, and the fenced yard made the space feel much bigger than it is. I ended every night in the hammock while our dogs poked around in the yard before bed. A park right across the street was great for morning dog walks, and you can wander all the way downtown in about 20 minutes or so. Definitely a great value for a nice, private space in a very convenient location. Thank you, Deirdre!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful place,it was close to all amenities and the beach is close,Walmart just down the street and the weather was perfect,looking forward to going back next year

Beautiful walkway to the back house, felt like I was in the islands! Quiet, comfy, clean! Jennifer reached out ahead of time to make sure it was what I was looking for. Great stay

Had a wonderful stay at Greg’s place for 4 nights. Greg was very responsive and accommodating (allowing us to check in a little early). The AirBnb was very clean and the perfect size for the 2 of us. Our primary interest was exploring the beaches and going to St. Armand’s Circle and Greg’s place was very convenient. We even had a chance to use the pickleball court one day which was only 1 block away. Very quiet, peaceful, safe neighborhood. Would definitely stay there again👍🏻

I was really impressed from the moment I arrived. Everything in the apartment is nicely labeled and was well organized and clean. You can tell they pay attention to detail. There was a nicely done local guide, as well. The property feels like a mini resort - they’ve done a nice job with the pool/grill/outdoor area. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly.

This was a nice and quaint room filled with all of the essentials for a short stay. I was hesitant booking when I knew it was right next to the owners home, but the spaced out entry way was nice and we never felt in the way of Adam or his family's space. It was very private and we felt safe and comfortable. The location was only ten minutes from most things like the beach. I would recommend staying here for a short stay!

This place is an absolute gem. It’s in a quiet, private and safe neighborhood. Close to the beach and restaurants. The unit is great for two people. It had everything we could want for a longer stay. Our hosts were gracious, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place.

Marianelas place was just as described. It had outside space for privacy, nice clean newer unit. A very comfy bed. She was quick to respond to any questions. We will certainly be returning!!!

In late February we spent 10 days in Steve’s Unit in the Southside of Sarasota. We loved the location which provided easy access to downtown and the beaches of Sarasota. Several days we walked the lovely neighborhood and also enjoyed the pool. Steve is also quite generous in stocking the Unit which is very clean. The Unit does have some quirks such as limited lighting, no dishwasher and a second sleeping area that opens to the living space but it does allow for an enjoyable stay.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Nokomis. The cottage was cozy, clean and beautifully decorated with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Nancy is friendly and responsive making check in and out a breeze. I truly felt at home and can't wait to return. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway in Nokomis.

We really enjoyed our time at Azure Guesthouse. It’s very comfortable. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and bars. The neighborhood is very nice as well. Be aware that there is an open stairway, from the kitchen to the living quarters, in case one has difficulty with climbing stairs. Also, Nicole was immediately responsive to any questions. We highly recommend checking out this lovely place!
