Vacation rentals in Santa Teresa

Williams is a great host. He was always helpful and coordinated a few rides around the area for us. Make sure if you plan to stay here that you have cellular data or wifi at all times as he will communicate through Whats App. If you don’t plan on hiking in the area and spending a night there, be prepared for a journey. Williams arranged a 5-5.5 hour car ride from Cusco to Santa Teresa and then another 45 minute car ride to the domes. We arrived pretty late, and it was dark as the domes are pretty isolated down a dirt road. Upon arrival we asked if we could have food prepared but were told that we could not, luckily we brought our own snacks and water. In the morning the lady hosting the domes made us a nice breakfast and we were off to continue our journey to Machu Pichu. Williams also set up a ride for us to station hidroelectrica where we hiked to aguas calientes to visit Machu Pichu. If you are in for an adventure I would recommend it, but be prepared. Jakeline's place is within a walking distance to the bus and the train station. It's a quiet location, which is a bonus.

This place was absolutely beautiful. About 45-60 minutes walk from aguas calientes, it is surrounded by beautiful nature, a waterfall, and a botanical garden that are well worth the visit. The walk from aguas calientes is beautiful too, although perhaps a little bit scary for some as it is walking along a narrow path beside active train tracks. Erwin and his mother were both very nice, providing meals at a low cost and answering all questions. Some of the units are standalone cabins, others are adjacent to neighboring rooms which I was unaware of. Highly recommend

Rina was a super friendly and welcoming host. She made the effort to meet us at the train station even thought our train was delayed. She gave us lots of useful tips and provided us with amazing breakfast at 5:30am. We were able to leave the luggage at her place while visiting Machu Pitcchu.

I would highly recommend staying here when you’re in Aguas Calientes. The hotel staff was very helpful and informative. The breakfast in the morning was so nice! It definitely helped us get prepped before our hike to Machu Picchu. Room and bathroom were very clean which feels so nice when traveling.

This was the perfect spot to stay for the night before heading up to Machu Picchu the next morning. Check in was a breeze. The girl that checked us in was so helpful. Rooms were very spacious and very clean. They packed us breakfast to go and stored our luggages for the day while we were visiting Machu Picchu. It’s a steep, uphill walk up to the place from the train station, so be prepared if you’re bringing along suitcases! It was the perfect stay, even if it was just for a night - 10/10 recommend.
