Monthly Rentals in Santa Cruz

Sarah was so welcoming when we arrived, and gave us a great amount of information about the accomondation and surrounding area, including tours that we could go on for snorkelling etc. It was a first class service from our host. There were essentials for us to use when we arrived which was really helpful. The Tree house is set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings with wildlife close by, including green sea turtles and black tipped sharks. We swam off the pier, and also at the German beach. There is a kayak for use - taking the kayak out early in the morning and kayaking with the turtles was a highlight of our trip. Puerto Ayora (accessible by water taxi) has many shops and restaurants. Further afield there are beautiful beaches to visit, and excellent snorkelling trips available. A day trip to Bartolome Island was a particular hightlight for us. All in all this was an amazing holiday!

Amazing place. Very modern, new, clean and comfortable accommodations at the center of town but far enough from the loud bars. Oscar let us check in early and even helped us arrange a taxi to take us to the turtle reserve and collapsed crater viewpoint on the way to the airport. Highly recommended! Kitchen supplies are quite sparse but don’t bother cooking with all the great food options around town. And having a large drinking water container would have been nice so we didn’t need to buy the disposable plastic containers. Would be happy to pay a little extra for drinking water in or outside the unit at the backyard kitchen.

Larry was an amazing host that went above and beyond! He has great restaurant recommendations and local cuisine you need to try before you leave. He was super communicative, helped us book travel between the islands, and responded quickly whenever we had a question or needed something. He was extremely helpful in every way and very kind! The place is really cool too, the AC was a lifesaver on the hot days and the hammock was a fun added touch in the small space, but it worked great 😊 the bathroom was small but totally fine for me since I’m 5’1”, it will be a little tight for anyone taller than me but totally doable for anyone looking for a compact studio that is easily accessible from town. Great bakery nearby and super amazing host! Thank you Larry!

That was by far the best place to relax and recharge in Puerto Ayora. Super clean, comfortable and within walking distance to everything. I particularly liked having access to a proper washing machine and a separate dryer(!) within the house, as well as fresh air throughout the day through the windows that had fitted screens to keep insects out. Monica was also very friendly and overall a great host.
