Very friendly and helpful. The first BnB or hotel that has ever made an effort to offer me gluten free breakfast options. Well done to them for going the extra mile. A minor gripe is that my room suffered from a weird plumbing noise coming from the apartment above. During the day it was not noticeable but in the quieter nighttime hours it bothered me. Overall I would still recommend them.

We didn’t end up staying overnight because our flight was changed, but the room and the guest house were both charming and pleasantly quirky. We’d book to stay again if we find ourselves back in Johannesburg

I really enjoyed my stay at Sam’s place. The location is great - it’s in a nice area of the city, close to many restaurants, etc. Sam was very kind and provided great recommendations. The house itself is beautiful and the room was clean and had everything I needed.

Josie's place is a gem! Especially when you attend an event at Wanderers. We will certainly return.

Jen's place is amazing, we had an awesome time in her very special cottage. Her attention to detail and thoughtful touches meant so much to us ! We found the proximity to the Rosebank Gautrain and shopping centres to be very useful and so loved the serene park-like feeling of the neighbourhood. We'll be back !

This was the second time that I have stayed at Cherry Tree Cottage and once again it was perfect. Ron and Marelyn are gracious friendly hosts who went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. The staff were extremely polite and respectful of all our needs. Ron and Marelyn went the extra mile in allowing us an extra late check out with no extra charge - a huge big thank you to you both. You are really kind in every way. The rooms are comfortable with electric blankets and heaters for the cold winter nights. The towels are soft and there are plenty of them. We will definitely use Cherry Tree Cottage every trip to Johannesburg

We have stayed at 17 on 13th. 3 years in a row and it is perfect for what we needed. Everybody helpful and accommodating, the rooms and living area great.

Where can I start to comment say about Firhana and her husband's hosting I arrived tired from my flight., into a total peaceful and quite location. I enquired about local restaurants and they kindly offered to drive to me to a local Mall, with good restaurants free of charge, gave me a phone number to call when I was ready to come back. On arrival they offered to share their evening meal, which I had to decline sadly, as I had already eaten. They gave me good advice on where to go, even driving me to the Nelson Mandela museum in Soweto, for a Red Bus Tour. I arrived back to find fresh fruit, biscuits etc. in my room. They organized my return taxi trip to the airport. Overall a great place to relax, I cannot recommend it highly enough. Great Pace, Great Hosts, Great Service!

Nous avons découvert une pépite dans la cité de l'or ! La villa est spacieuse et restaurée avec beaucoup de goût, les chambres et salles de bains disposent de tout le nécessaire voire plus, le quartier est calme et sécurisé et la vue est juste… Whaou ! Percy est aux petits soins et toujours disponible. Il nous a servi un excellent et copieux petit déjeuner installés sur cette magnifique terrasse. A 20mn de l'aéroport (chauffeur disponible sur demande) et proche du centre ville c'est un point de chute idéal, au calme, pour faire juste une étape ou y passer quelques jours pour visiter la ville. Merci Xavier et Hélène pour cet excellent moment passé chez vous et pour tous vos conseils, nous reviendrons c'est certain !

The place smells divine🫶🏾 and squeaky clean👌🏾. The hosts are amazing! Would definitely recommend, it’s worth every penny.

Although there for a day to take a break from home, the place was absolutely tranquil. A wonderful getaway to just wind down and relax in absolute silence. A super clean room, fun amenities and lovely host.
