Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown are only 10 minutes away. The home provided a wonderful launching pad for exploring the area. It was comfortable and nicely decorated.

Kate’s place was perfect for our family’s first trip to Norfolk! The beach is literally less than a 5 minute walk away. Her home is adorable and her neighbors are the sweetest people! My kids loved their little dog. We felt very comfortable in the house — very nice neighborhood and the home had everything we needed! We were very close to downtown as well. We will definitely be coming back if we make it back to Norfolk! Thank you Kate!

Had a great time staying at Lisa's home. The place was a very beautiful home and a peaceful neighborhood. Spacious living area as well as the bathrooms and rooms.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Charles for Thanksgiving. The house was perfect for having a small holiday meal; a wonderfully stocked kitchen with good knives can be hard to find! It was a comfortable home in a great location. It was perfect for walking to shops, restaurants and coffee shops. There is also great playground that the kids really enjoyed. The host was responsive to all of our questions and provided lots of recommendations for activities in the area. We look forward to booking this home again.

Heron House was perfect! Great location to walk to the beach and to Mason Street shops. Our party of four was completely satisfied with the layout of the house and the many amenities. We will stay here again!

We stayed at Richard’s because we were getting married on the beach which is right behind the house however weather halted tht so we opted to get married right in his beautiful backyard. The first day we were there we met his father who introduced himself and let us know tht if there was anything we needed to just reach out. Richard and his Mom actually were very sweet and left us a beautiful card for our wedding, the house is gorgeous and it was very clean. There were a lot a personal touches in the house tht made it truly feel like you were home. I can’t wait to stay there again next year for our 1st year wedding anniversary.

We loved our stay at this amazing cottage! it felt like home, with every amenity possible and the walk to the awesome beach to the calm waters with beautiful sunrises, and dolphins passing by was awesome! This is a beautiful location for those seeking to relax and bask in the sea breeze. The property offers private space right on top of the water and a large back porch with endless views of the horizon. The home offers large windows all throughout and the furniture is arranged nicely so that the sun rise gently wakes you from sleep in the morning. The entry into the area, a small road between the marsh, gives the instant feeling that it's time to unplug. The community was quiet and and offered plenty of miles for a good long run and to observe nature from afar. There are a few small cafes and shops in the adjacent community which will complement any necessity a small family may need while spending a quiet week at the beach.

I can't say enough how wonderful it was to stay at this little cottage for my working vacation! I felt right at home when I walked in the door. I arrived right at sunset and the views were just amazing. This is now my go-to place every time I visit the Gloucester County area! Everything was spotless and clean. WiFi was very good (I unfortunately had to work while I was there). The owners James and Ann were amazing, welcoming, responsive and had great communication. I highly recommend this as THE place to stay - I don't think I could have chosen a better spot!! Thank you for having me!

This spot was perfect for a few days right in Virginia Beach. We walked to the beach with our dog in the morning after we chose from several nearby spots for coffee and treats. The neighborhood was walkable, friendly, with things to do and see. The house itself is cozy, with everything you could want or need while traveling. A home away from home.

Very peaceful and fenced in yard was a plus for our small dog. The beach was only a couple of blocks away. House was clean and host was responsive.

This was the perfect find for exactly what we needed- a peaceful and quiet few days to escape our hectic everyday. The home was cozy and lovely and exactly as described. Cape Charles is a gem of a town and we look forward to coming back!

The cottage was wonderful -- very cozy and comfortable, with had everything we needed and more. I loved reading on the porch, watching the water. We enjoyed the deck over the bay. Andy was so friendly and SO helpful with local recommendations etc. And we just loved the area -- the Botanic Gardens, beach, and great restaurants were all easy to get to. LOVED our stay here, we were in town visiting a family member that is stationed in the area. Place was easy to find and had so much to do in the area. The home was so adorable I loved the Blue touches all over with the beachy theme. Everything was a described. We had one small concert and Samantha jumped into action to make sure it was taken care of and was great with following up to make sure we were happy with the resolution. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

Beautiful, cozy space within walking distance of the beach and many great restaurants. Made our weekend all the better, having a nice place to stay!

This location can't be beat! An easy walk to the oceanfront boardwalk - surrounded by bars, restaurants, shopping and stores - we had an absolutely wonderful long weekend. The accommodations were great - super comfy beds and a modern, well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels/linens, great climate control - just an ideal place to stay! Will absolutely book again next time we're in the area.
