Vacation rentals in San Saba River

This was my second stay at Bethany’s and it was another great trip. I love the easy access to get in, I come and go as I please. It’s close to my families house which I love, it’s a place I’m able to go to when I come to my hometown to visit family. Highly recommend! It’s a cute & quaint place and Has everything you need!

As long as this place is available to stay when we are in the area it will be a for sure in our book!! Best place we have stayed hands down!

Staying at Leah's farm cabin was an absolute delight! The place is exactly as pictured: cozy, clean, and full of charm. We loved the peaceful and private setting, which made for a truly relaxing getaway. Interacting with the goats, horses, and the donkey was a highlight of our trip, we especially enjoyed feeding them. It was a beautiful place that offered a unique and memorable experience. We would definitely go back!

My Dad and I went for an annual golf trip and this was the perfect spot! Not too far from the course/town, but just far enough out to get to enjoy the river and peaceful setting! Carl and Debbie immediately called when I had a question and were very helpful! Will definitely try to book this spot again next year!

Our stay at Carleen’s was exquisite, it was private and quiet. A perfect little get a way tucked away along the Colorado river. I would definitely recommend staying there again. Carleen’s was very responsive and proactive with everything going above and beyond what was expected. Thank you again for allowing us to stay at your perfect get away.

Enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately, the rain and mud were prohibitive of exploring the property, but the yurts and immediate vicinity were set up nicely. Would like to return during nicer weather.

Exactly what we needed. Very relaxing, peaceful, cottage right on the water. outside are was huge and the kitchen had all the things anyone could possibly need. Large bed was very comfortable. Everything was exactly as described. Host was very responsive and helpful. Could not have been a better stay. We will definitely be back.

What a stunning location! I had a wonderful time at The Nocona. For anyone interested in stargazing, this is the place for you. It's a level 2 on the Bortle Dark Sky scale (level 1 would be remote areas of Alaska/Canada). The fenced off yard is perfect for pets. I brought my cat Mowgli along and I felt comfortable letting him roam free. The farm animals are not afraid to stop by for a visit. Momma cow and her calf said hello, and even a sweet barn cat asked for cuddles. If quiet and peace are what you're looking for, I highly recommend The Nocona. Lacie and Cassi are fantastic hosts and prepared the cozy cabin for my stay with everything I needed. Mason, TX is considered the gem of Hill Country, and I couldn't agree more. I had a chance to visit downtown and there were plenty of activities. From quaint boutiques, wine tasting, and restaurants, you won't get bored. I hope to return!
