Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in San Juan

My friends and I went out our annual girls trip to puerto rico and decided to stay here! it’s directly on the beach, has restaurants within walking distance, and was overall in a great location. Alfredo was very responsive with any questions we had which was very appreciated. We would stay here again!

Juan Gabriel was responsive to our needs. Room was clean and had a great location.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing, we had to cancel our air bnb the night before our trip (false advertisement), and i stumbled across Jennifer’s beautiful studio. She was very accommodating when it came to early & late check out. Had very quick responses as well. In a great and convenient location with lots of restaurants and easy walk to the beach. Will definitely be back in the future !

This is a very conveniently located, well maintained property if you want to be anywhere around Isla Verde beach. Everything that you need for a beach vacation was easily accessible. We decided to skip hotels this time and stay at this Airbnb where we felt there was a better value for your $$s. Highly recommended and we look forward to our next stay here

Elsa's place in Santurce was awesome! We arrived during an island-wide power outage and Elsa made sure we were okay. Even though the power didn't come on until the next afternoon, we were able to walk to a nearby Starbucks in the morning for breakfast and Super Max for groceries. And sitting outside by the pool - we didn't need power! The apartment itself was exactly as described and very convenient to a grocery store and the nightlife of Santurce. It is a huge pro to have a pool, and a pool with private beach access! We didn't use any of them, but the amenities in the building, like the gym and laundry, were nice to have accessible if needed. Thank you Elsa so much for your hospitality! We had a great time.

This condo is sooo far above and beyond what the description can express and the pictures can convey. This is obviously Julio and Larry's personal condo and it shows. The furnishings and decor are luxurious. There is nothing that is not provided: from beach chairs, beach buggy beach towels, and snorkle gear...to sundries and luxury bath linens.... to high end-kitchen appliances and anything you could want or need for preparing meals. The view, oh man, the view. The pictures cannot do it justice. Theanoramic views of the ocean, bay and mountains are just epic, and also super cool at night The hosts are super responsive and genuinely nice. I cannot wait to return. Thanks Julio!

very cute little apartment and in easy walking distance to the beach + many restaurants and shops. the apartment complex does not let you walk in or out in a swim suit though even though we are by the beach, and the guards are very strict about it, so make sure you wear coverups.

Large clean condo in a good central location. Concierge on site and building check in process is efficient and offers good safety measures. Old San Juan is about a 5-10 minute Uber ride depending on traffic conditions. Beautiful beach with plenty of sun and shade that's about a 5-10 minute walk away. Condo has two beach chairs & towels for use, or you can rent at beach. The main bedroom is large with an ultra-comfortable bed. Unit has central air, and building has a backup generator. (we arrived same day as island blackout so having a generator was a huge plus). Dahiana provides very clear and thorough instructions along with a list of restaurants, places of interest etc.

My friends and I had the best time here! The pictures did not do this place justice, the view was absolutely incredible. Everything was clean and they had everything we could have needed including beach chairs, towels, and all other important amenities. The staff of the building were also so kind. We can’t wait to come back!

Angels is amazing host we love his place and have been there several times and will always come back as long as he has availability. place is Immaculate,area is beautiful thank you Angel for your space. It’s beautiful. I feel right at home. 1 out of 10 he gets 100 percent satisfaction

I had a wonderful experience staying at this place for a few days. The apartment was well-maintained, which made me feel right at home. The location was unbeatable—and the host was super helpful and responsive.

I have been coming to PR for years and most of my stays are at Ashford imperial!! Robert, was AMAZING!! The condo is beautiful, just the right amount of furniture, clean, beautiful view, all the amenities you need, and more!!! This is the top 3 of my list of places to stay in the 15 years I have been coming here!!! Some people you can’t make happy as one of the reviews but trust me there were no roaches or other problems with our stay! He was accommodating and got us in right away since our flight arrived early in the am!! Thank you Robert for allowing us to stay in your place!! We will be back!!!

Can't say enough good things - we stayed here two nights as a family of four. Small but very comfortable space with great view & very kid-friendly beach. Allison was super proactive communicating and checked in after the power went out. We had a hot night with no lights/fan/AC but no fault of hers and she even discounted our stay in recognition of it. Would have no hesitations returning, thank you Allison!

Jose’s apartment was just what I was looking for. Everything I needed was nearby. Condado beach was steps away and the fantastic Ocean Park Beach was about a ten minute flat walk away. I reached Old San Juan by (free!) bus and even walked back once along the shore with a whole lot of joggers... Jose communicated thoroughly and in a very friendly manner... The place was well supplied with what you need for a stay at the beach… mostly, lots of towels and even a couple of beach chairs, as well.

Ron was flexible with my check-in time which I very much appreciated. The instructions to enter the apartment were clear and the place was clean. I also appreciated him reaching out during the power outage to see if I needed anything. There was also a great view of the ocean from the balcony! I would recommend staying here!

I do a lot of research when it comes to Airbnbs. This place was pretty much perfect. Comfiest sofa bed EVER, sofa beds are typically the worst to sleep on. This was so much on the beach that our uber driver dropped us off in the sand lol Great communication from the host, as the island was in the midst of a power outage. They assured us we would be good and we came anyways and I’m so glad we did. My teenager was impressed with the led lights lol . Great water pressure and hot. Clean place and plenty of walkable things to see and do. I truly loved this Airbnb.

It was a lovely home and just as pictured. Only improvements could be that the spin bike seat was broken and there wasn’t two of the hand weights in the same weight. Otherwise, flawless!

Our family enjoyed our stay very much. The pool/patio/BBQ area was so beautiful it made it hard to want to leave to go exploring. Cuyler was proactive with providing instructions on how to operate showers, entry way codes, etc. House is very close to a grocery store and restaurants. Bedrooms were spacious and the air conditioning was appreciated. The kitchen had the cookware that we needed for cooking breakfast each morning and the dinning table was spacious enough for a large family. Cuyler was quick to respond when we had a question. The house is in a quiet, gated community which felt safe and not too far from the locations we wanted to visit. We had a great trip and stay!

What a property! This gem has the most gorgeous upstairs apartment. We loved hanging out up there and in the back courtyard. One thing we didn’t realize is that the three first floor bedrooms are actually in two separate apartments. Bedrooms in these units have a/c but not the other areas. The location was incredible. We walked everywhere to explore and eat! Really great hosts and a wonderful spot for a few days of Puerto Rico fun!

We spent seven nights there for a family wedding April 2025 in Puerto Rico. There was plenty of space for all of us on beds and couches. The air conditioning worked great. We loved having the two apartments on the property because our family members with babies slept there and had quiet for naps. The owners brought us two portacribs for the babies to sleep in. We enjoyed sitting together and talking in the upstairs TV room, and enjoyed eating meals together in the kitchen. The beach is nearby and the children loved it. The company was responsive when I emailed and brought what we needed quickly. My family loved going to the nearby beach and we were close to the airport and to Old San Juan. We would love to go back there some time!

This house, the location, and the host of this house were a 10/10. Everything was perfect, I will definitely book this house again when I come back! It was my fiancé and I’s birthday weekend and the host went out of their way to decorate the house and buy us a birthday cake, I mean how thoughtful was that!!! I was definitely sold after that. We hand an amazing time and enjoyed the amenities of the house, the kitchen was stocked with all of your needs, everything location wise was at least 10/15min at the most. I couldn’t have asked for a better place! Thank you so much for everything!!

Jenny was a great host, super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. She shared great local recommendations, from restaurants to taxi services, and was quick to answer any questions we had. We were a group of 9, and the space was perfect for us. It was clean, cozy, and just as described. The kitchen was well-equipped, which made group meals easy. Would definitely recommend!

We had a great stay! Place was very clean. Alex communicated with us very well on the instructions on how to access the home. We did not have any problems. We will keep this place in mind for the future.

This is one of our favorite airbnbs. It’s our second stay and we returned because it is uniquely perfect for hosting larger groups. The kitchen accommodates cooking dinner for 10. The roof deck is wonderful. The location is ideal. Close to everything you want to explore in old San Juan. There’s a supermarket nearby. We stayed in 2023 and we note that the property is in better condition than our last visit.
