Vacation rentals in San José Lachiguirí

This is a magical place- the view, kindness of the hosts, the cabin and fireplace- and the food is absolutely incredible. The 12 grain pancakes and the shakshuka were spot on for breakfast and the varied pasta offerings were delicious. Make sure you order dessert- we had the crème brûlée and pan a cotta. We felt so relaxed and welcomed staying here and want to return.

The tiny house is just as described in the listing and comments. Fabian is a very talented artist and designer. He designed the 3 buildings on the property.

Alberto’s cabin was an amazing homebase for a peaceful retreat into the mountains, and everything has met or exceeded any of our expectations. The location was great — remote, peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by the forest in the valley, with great views and directly facing the sunset. It’s spacious, clean, new, warm (the wood-fired stove was great for the cold nights!), and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s a 15-minute walk to town, all uphill — so a bit of a small adventure, but tuk-tuks are available throughout the day and arrive quickly if/when needed. Alberto’s communication was amazing, quick, and super helpful, and if/when his on-site assistance was needed, he was there within minutes. Looking forward to coming back soon!

A welcoming fairy tale experience in the high mountains (8200 ft!) with beautiful flowers in the gardens on the property right above a ravine fed by spring water. The view overlooking the west facing slope of mature pine and oak trees was amazing. Accurately described; we were in awe of the location and the community. Hiking, relaxing, authentic and delicious food through the gate only a few steps away next door - more than we dreamed for! Ana’s cooking was a definite highlight. It was also a deep honour to experience the Temazcal with a respected shaman and healer - from the community- her energy is a life force. Time spent with Janet was as with - “una abrazo de una querida amiga! “. . . We were dreaming of our return before we departed.

Beautiful, cosy cabin in a stunning location. A little out of town but would happily stay again.

Amazing place, great location, very comfortable, very clean, the only thing is that the wifi didn't work for us, recommended!

This is a magical spot that grants you access to magical land and a magical town. Go with someone you love and sit beside the fire at night. Listen to the birds in the morning. Wander into town for tacos and tamales. Go see Casa Abuela for some grub and get a hug!
