Excellent option to go with your family or friends and get out of the routine. It is a very quiet, beautiful and surrounded by nature. It is advisable to go by truck or high car since some parts of the road can be uneven, but we were able to arrive without a problem. We would definitely love to come back Chrisbert and Oscar were always on the lookout and were very friendly at all times.

La Peña Cabaña (Sierra Santa Rosa, Guanajuato)

AngelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
It's a cabin in the middle of the sierra, so if you're looking to isolate and disconnect from the city it's a perfect place. The house is very nice, a little dark at night and even though it was cold outside, inside it was very cozy, the spaces are very nice, ideal for arming the meat roasted as a family or with friends and the windows of the dining room are beautiful to contemplate the forest in the mornings while you have a coffee. All my companions and I went out enchanted and eager to stay here again. The last 20 minutes of walking are done in terracerĂa, but this contributes to the feeling of being away from the city. Highly recommended.

Country house, rest and enjoy nature

BrendaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We charm the house, an ideal place to leave the city, enjoy nature, it has all the services to be able to make a roast meat, games for little ones, the area to make the campfire is very nice, in addition to the fact that the firewood makes it easier for you, the house is very nice and equipped, the internet works perfectly. We really enjoyed our stay, we appreciate being able to go with our pets, who also ran until they got tired. Rosalia's hospitality is incredible.

Your guide to San Felipe

All About San Felipe

Located about 120 miles south of the United States-Mexico border in the state of Baja, San Felipe is a picturesque little town often called the “Jewel of the Sea of Cortez.” The town boasts long sandy beaches and warm, pristine waters — and is most famous for its outstanding sport fishing. So not surprisingly the seafood on the menus of the concessions, restaurants, and bars of San Felipe’s waterfront boardwalk, come straight off the boats and onto your plate. San Felipe has become something of a destination for foodies, who come from near and far to enjoy the abundance of quality local seafood, especially shrimp, on offer. While the sea is the main draw, the town is also surrounded by the San Felipe Desert, which offers spectacular natural landscapes, including sweeping mountain ranges, the most prominent of which is the Sierra San Pedro Martír — the tallest range in the Baja region.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in San Felipe

It is nearly always warm and sunny in San Felipe, but if there is a best time to visit it would probably be from September to November and March and April, when the days are pleasantly warm, and nights comfortably mild, perfect for enjoying the town’s many outdoor activities. San Felipe also hosts several festivals during this period, including one of the town’s most popular events — the Annual Shrimp Festival — held on the first weekend of November. The town is also part of the Annual Baja Culinary Fest in October, when chefs from the region travel from community to community creating delicious dishes using local produce. Whenever you decide to visit, you’re bound to find many San Felipe vacation rental options, including houses and condos for all tastes and budgets.
