Monthly Rentals in San Domenico

We (4) had a very pleasant week in Varzo, with excursions, skiing in San Domenico and thermal baths in Premia. The accommodation offered by Luigi has parking nearby, but it is also within walking distance of Varzo train station (20-25' uphill, through the center of the historic village). Hosts are welcoming and very responsive. The accommodation is clean and comfortable, in a fully renovated 17th century home. We were there in February and the interior temperature was very pleasant. A pellet stove adds warmth and atmosphere to the dining room. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and the place is very quiet. The view from the balcony over the valley and mountains is stunning. All in all, we highly recommend Cas Giulia to anyone wishing to discover this region very rich in culture, landscapes and land and have a relaxing stay.

The place is wonderful in all aspects. Fortunately, we have tire chains and are experienced with driving on small mountain roads in the winter. So, we could make the 15 minute climb/decent from/to Varzo village. We somehow assumed, and perhaps missed the communication that the cabin is not in Varzo. It is in a very peaceful and beautiful alpine area above Varzo. The Internet did not work, which was a blessing -- as the location beckoned peace and enjoyment of creation, not screens.

See it to believe it. The place looks better than in the photographs. Federica and Claudio thought of every detail and then, well, then there is the view from every window. : “ awe!” The place is extremely clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. Great experience, a weekend we'll remember! Very helpful and friendly hosts, we really enjoyed ourselves. The luck of having found a fantastic climate and sunny days allowed us to fully experience the outdoor environment with its colors and sensations. The house is very nice and comfortable, nothing is missing, we really appreciated the passion put into the details of the construction, you can feel the commitment and love for these places.
