“Our experience at Amanda's place was the best in our 20 days in Mexico! The home is very clean and was surprisingly quiet for the close proximity to the airport. The location can't be beat for those flying in or out of the Oaxaca Airport. We dropped our rental car off at the airport the night before an early morning flight and just decided to walk back to the house because it was so close (about 2.5 km), the weather was so pleasant, and that gave us an excuse to stop for some delicious tacos on our last night in Mexico. The hot water worked reliably, our bed was very comfortable and Amanda was a wonderful host to talk to. Her hospitality can't be beat. She graciously woke up at 5am, made us coffee and drove us to the airport for a modest fee. She then parked, helped us pack our luggage into the airport and made sure we made it to the correct counter for check-in. We loved our time in Oaxaca and will certainly visit again. When we do, we will choose Amanda's house, if we have the good fortune to find it available.”
