Very functional accommodation, enough to have a pleasant stay near the center with access to restaurants on foot. Parking is available next to the listing. I highly recommend it.

Perfect hosts - welcoming and knowledgeable about the local area. A lovely, well equipped, tastefully decorated and spacious place to stay. Great for cycling around area - local Boulangerie 5 mins away on electric bike. Chateaux on tap in area. Lovely pool area. Outside dining areas catch early morning sun. For a tranquil stay with restaurants and interesting towns and villages 30-45 minutes drive away we cannot recommend more highly.

Thank you very much for all the information she gave me. In addition, we arrived at 10.30 p.m. because my niece was taking care of her pony (which was in an unknown box for the competition in Pompadour) and the lady was worried about not seeing us arrive (and she was right because we couldn't find the house). We only stayed one night but slept well. Recommended.

What the listing does not emphasise enough is the high quality of the way this 300 year old property has been renovated. Plus, the decor and fittings are high quality: it really is like living in a real home, not simply a place that has been kitted out on a budget just for AirBnB. And... always a good sign.... the kitchen knives are sharp, there is an apron for the cook, and spices and herbs are provided. For those of you from the UK, think of the best of 'Rural Retreats' (a very high quality set of holiday rental properties.) The property is in a tiny hamlet of 3 houses. It really is a quiet and beautiful setting. Virginia is generous with access to the garden (which is shared with her home). She is the perfect combination of being friendly but not intrusive.
