We had a wonderful week at Delphine's in August. The house is set in beautiful grounds and the views over the peaceful countryside were wonderful, especially in the late afternoon with the sunset. We enjoyed using the covered pool, even when raining, and the pool house has a fridge and toilet which meant with young children we didn't need to walk back up the hill path to the main house. The tennis court and basketball net were also was a big hit and she provided lots of balls and rackets to keep everyone entertained. There is a lovely boulangerie in Chambray, and big supermarket nearby in Vernon, and the location is great for taking day trips to the coast and surrounding towns. Check in and check out was smooth with the friendly Martine showing us around the house and providing all the details, even using a translation app so we could communicate and understand each other well. It really was the perfect week for relaxing and switching off for a while.

Nathalie is very nice, responsive and accommodating. The accommodation is extremely clean, functional and well-equipped and located in a quiet area. The garden is also nice. The house is located about a ten-minute walk to the city center and the beach and 5 minutes to the shops, which is very convenient. We recommend it!

Thanks to Isabelle for hosting her lovely house full of charm. Lovely well-maintained garden and a nice terrace for lunch outside. The interior is very cozy, including the living room, its fireplace and the tiny house. The dining room is smaller but we were able to use a raclette machine to enjoy with the family! Isabelle was very flexible on schedules and allowed us to enjoy the house as much as possible. Thank you for everything:)

We had a great weekend with the family (2 adults + 2 children) in the gîte au vent des marées where everything is designed to make sure everything goes smoothly! We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and the location allows you to enjoy the beach within 10 min by car. We recommend this cottage without a second thought and hope to return soon.
