Il Borgo was an absolute dream to stay at and it by far surpassed our expectations. We visited Italy for the first time and to be hosted by Luca & Marina on our trip, has set the bar super high for any further trips we may have. Never have we ever met such amazing souls. We booked an air bnb, with the usual expectations. Luca & Marina showered us with so much love and care, that we are still blown away. The views were spectacular, the home was so cosy and immaculate, but what stood out the most was the passion, care and love of Luca & Marina. They both have really put their heart and souls into everything they do. And it really shows that their passion is not business, but rather to be genuine kind souls. To say we all shed a tear on departure of our trip for one another. Just goes to show, how much of a lasting impression they have had 💕thank you Luca & Marina, our Italian parents 💗

Very nice place, clean, well furnished. Host was great. Free parking is 15 minutes walk from the place.

Beautiful home with a view and lake access. It went very well, the place was perfect. we have a baby and a small one, all the childcare equipment was available and very useful. we highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a fantastic time at Sonia's place. It is a beautiful, quiet location. Amazing views from virtually every window of Lake Como. Lots of space for a family of 4 and well equipped, clean and spacious. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful place! Right inside a horse farm. The apartment is located on the second floor above the farm office. Two huge bedrooms and two very large bathrooms. New and clean washing machine. We traveled with our children and they were thrilled with the place. The owners of the property were very friendly and highly available by phone (whatapp) Great place!

Such a lovely stay in this cozy, charming cottage in Nesso! The garden was perfect for lounging in the sun, and we lucked out with beautiful weather. Check-in was super smooth with clear instructions and videos. While we didn’t meet our host, she was very responsive and helpful with local tips. We were greeted with pastries and prosecco, which was such a nice touch! The house is small but great for a short stay. A/C and heating worked well. Bathroom is tiny and hot water ran out quickly, but manageable. There’s a washer (we didn’t use it) but no iron. Heads-up: the steps down to the house from the road are steep! Also, a few things from the listing (like chickens or a certain seating area) weren’t there. We used the bus to get to Como—it’s easy once you figure it out. Overall, our host was wonderful and we’d totally stay here again!

A great stay in a very charming apartment with a great host. The location is wonderful, a steep but short walk down to the centre of Bellano, with decent bars and restaurants in walking distance. Percival was very accommodating, responded rapidly and was able to share tips for the local area. A truly beautiful spot and a rare treat to have a private garden with such a stunning view

Dear Deborah, thank you for the great time in this beautiful cottage. I was able to enjoy the short break to the fullest. The view from the terrace is outstanding! 😊 I felt very comfortable and above all welcome from the beginning. This accommodation is absolutely recommended! The contact with the landlords was very friendly and warm from the beginning. No question remained unanswered. I got great tips for hikes and restaurants. In the immediate vicinity of the house start great hiking trails, among other things, to two waterfalls! Thank you for the great time! 🤗

Very nice, older house, quietly located. Everything you need, well-equipped and clean kitchen. Huge garden with various sun loungers, hammocks, toys for children, barbecue and pizza oven and a beautiful view. The pizzas from the pizza oven in the garden tasted delicious. The communication with the host worked flawlessly, we always got a quick response to questions. We felt very comfortable.

A nice little house directly on the lake. Pure relaxation with sauna and enough space for four to sit on the sofa. You are quickly in the city or in the mountains and various shopping facilities are available nearby. Lovingly decorated and cozy. Very nice contact and impeccable communication.

As always, we felt very comfortable and took very great tours on foot and by road bike.

We had an exceptional stay in this small cottage nestled in the heart of the alpine pasture. The setting is simply magical: breathtaking views of the mountains, absolute calm and unspoiled nature. The cottage is charming, perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay, while maintaining its authenticity. After beautiful days of ski hiking directly from the door, what a pleasure to meet by the fireplace with a warm atmosphere. The host is very welcoming and available, with valuable tips for itineraries and good local tips. If you are looking for a place to disconnect and fully enjoy the mountains, this is the place to come! We won't hesitate to come back.

We had an amazing stay. Back to nature and quiet. To get to the accommodation, we took the cable car to Verdasio. The walk is beautiful and not very hilly. Very clean accommodation, no mouse problems. We took our sleeping bags and fitted sheets as advised in many reviews and it was very comfortable. We weren't cold. We had a great time cooking small dishes on the fire. We will be happy to come back, thanks to Stefano for his responsiveness and the many tips given. Perfect stay. We'll be back! Christelle

A very nice week spent with the family in the heights and freshness (welcome!) of Lake Como and the beautiful city of Varenna. The place is located in a natural setting. We were surprised to discover a hot tub! The exteriors are very nice and well equipped ( garden furniture, sun loungers) . The interior is very as described. A good location to explore Lake Como by day. we also spent a day in Milan taking the train to Varenna. Patrizia was very responsive to any inquiries.

We had an incredible stay at Jeannies place. The view is breathtaking and the cottage is rustic and very comfortable with everything we needed. We chose to walk from the ferry (this took almost an hour up with luggage and 25 minutes down… be forewarned you’ll be better off with a car). It was very clear from the instructions that we’d be in for a trek but opted for it anyway! Antonella is lovely and was very friendly. Would highly recommend buying some of her cheese!

This was our first time visiting Lake Como, and staying at Giada’s home was a truly delightful experience. The moment we opened the door, our first thought was, “How could anyone living here ever feel troubled?” The view is exactly as shown in the photos—if not more breathtaking in person. You can tell that the home is lovingly cared for, from the tasteful decor to the well-maintained furniture. A special highlight was the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a full set of dishes and cookware. The only minor drawback was that the two induction burners couldn’t be used at the same time, but everything else was absolutely perfect.
