The incredibly thick walls immediately plunged us into a medieval atmosphere, making us forget the modern world. The highlight of the show was undoubtedly the guard wall accessible directly from our room. We spent hours imagining an English invasion, plunging us back into the history of the Hundred Years War. It was like living in a fairy tale, where every stone told a story. The warm welcome and small touches from our hosts made our stay even more special.
