We loved our stay at Veronique’s chalet! It was perfect for the two of us to stay almost a week on the island. We loved that the old chalet was restored with modern amenities. The surroundings were quiet and we loved the privacy of the backyard to use the hot tub and fire pit. The upstairs bedroom was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and it was great to have a portable A/C unit up there for the warmer nights. The bathroom was super clean and the shower was excellent. The only downside we ran into was the village (and therefore the chalet) lost power for almost 10 hours. Véronique kept us updated on the power company’s work on the problem and they brought us water, candles, and a flashlight. We were given a refund of one night for the inconvenience which was appreciated even though the power outage was out of their control.

Our family loved our stay... we've stayed at many places on the island, but this was one of our favorites. Beautiful location, peaceful, charming neighborhood. The house was remarkably clean and spacious. My son and I loved sitting on the sliding chairs in the back yard and watching the river. The host left a charming welcome note and some treats! I wish we could have spent more time there and definitely hope to return on a future trip.

Céline and Andreï are wonderful hosts.They responded to our questions promptly and even followed up by email to make sure we arrived without issue, had everything we needed, and felt comfortable reaching out with any further questions. The house is exactly as shown in the pictures—spotlessly clean, cozy, and well-equipped. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the towels and linens were fresh and pleasantly scented. The backyard offers a stunning view of the Fleuve, and during low tide, you can even enjoy a peaceful walk along the shore. I would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation.

An enchanting site, quiet and full of charm, with everything you need for a cozy stay. The place is in a good location, a short walk from beach access that offers a nice walk to the village. Maryse is a welcoming, warm and caring host. Special mention for the cats and chickens on the site, which make the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend it 100%!
