Apartment vacation rentals in Saint John

This is the perfect location for a very peaceful and restful stay on Tortola. The host was really good at communicating both before and throughout our stay. One minor issue with the bathroom basin plug was resolved straight away. The garden area, pool and small beach were all delightful, though loungers could do with an upgrade (a very minor matter). Fall asleep and wake to the sound of the sea and if you’re really lucky watch a pelican fishing right in front of you. We saw it most mornings and late afternoons during our stay. Probably best to have a hire car available though taxis easy to organise. We also used the local bus service, which was ‘an experience’, one I’m glad we had. Would we go back? It’s a very long way from Europe! But we both really enjoyed our stay and, though not as young as we used to be, would love to come again. We had some important communications to make during our stay and excellent WiFi enabled us to do it. Thanks Justin and all the staff.

Verena's Holiday Haven was newly remodeled and very clean. We appreciated all of the beach supplies and the great location. It was just steps from the beach. Gaven was good at communicating details with us, and check-in was very straightforward.

My husband and I just got back from Donald’s place and we could not have loved it more. It was the perfect location, felt right at home, and had the best vacation. We rented a car for the first few days to explore the island, get ferries to Jost and Virgin Gorda, and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset dinner at Bananakeet, one of Donald’s recommendations. Donald’s home has everything you could possibly need, with the most comfortable bed and the perfect balcony for sitting out to enjoy the view. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back! John was so nice! I actually got to meet him by accident and he was very friendly, responsive to anything i asked. The place was so nice and i highly recommend staying here if you can’t get a rental because you can walk pretty every where we saved so much on taxis cause restaurants even the grocery store Is walking distance! The place felt homey and was really clean. Highly recommend

We stayed at St Thomas in Jackie’s place for three nights. The view from the porch was more beautiful than the pictures. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning watching the sunrise and in the evening, sunset. Jackie was so kind in offering to pick us up at the boat terminal and also allowed us to check in early too. She sent a video with clear instructions in finding the place. Jackie responded to our every need. A basket of snacks, bottled water, sunscreen and bug spray were waiting on the counter…so nice. We enjoyed our stay.

This was my second time at Avery’s studio. Avery’s place has always been top notch in cleanliness. It’s a very nice studio with wood vaulted ceilings and nicely decorated. There is a small store half a block away where one can buy water and other supplies. There is also a great bistro half a block away and the times I’ve been there the food has been very good. From Avery’s studio you can walk to downtown where there are restaurants and taxi services that can take you to the beaches. I would definitely recommend staying here, and hope to return. This place is super cosy and clean. Jennifer and Kendra were extremely welcoming hosts. Definitely recommend booking with them! :)

The place was clean and spacious as described. The rooms were a good size and kitchen came with pots, pans, utensils, etc. It is walkable, about 20-30 minutes to town. However, a car rental is recommended. It was up a mountain on a narrow and winding road. Had a couple chairs outside where had a nice view. The one down thing we noticed was that we couldn’t get the sound on the tv to work. However, that could’ve been user error and didn’t matter anyway as we weren’t there to spend a lot of time watching tv. Nothing that would change our rating. We would recommend others to stay here.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful spot in St. Thomas. The space was absolutely stunning. It was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. One of our favorite features was the front patio with its peaceful view, it was the perfect place to sit and relax, even during a rain shower thanks to the overhang. Karleen was a fantastic host. She was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. She came to meet us in person and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We’d absolutely stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend! P.s. Karleen advised us to rent a car, which was definitely necessary to get around the island and more affordable and accessible than taxis. There’s easy parking and she helped us with directions, as it is a lil nerve wracking driving around

If you are looking for an economic, clean, safe, homey feeling place to stay... Feara's is it. I felt like I was visiting my Auntie and she let me stay in one of her apartments. A/C worked well. Has a full apartment-sized kitchen. You'll have and ocean view from atop a lush green mountain scattered with houses while enjoying the sounds of nature. I visited in May (rainy season). I recommend a compact SUV if possible- you'll be driving up a mountain. There is flat parking available but, I chose to park underneath the mango tree. Very lovely experience. Feara answered all of my calls a texts. I came for work but would like to return for some alone time with peace and quiet.

David was very easy to work with and helpful with transportation. Restaurant in walking distance.

First time on the island and staying here and waking up to the amazing view every morning made me fall in love with it! The pictures don’t do it justice! The perfect quiet neighborhood for a relaxing stay but still close enough to Red Hook to easily access restaurants and the ferry to St. John. The book with local recommendations inside took the guesswork out of planning and helped us find places we may not have otherwise! Can’t wait to stay again soon and spend more time on the balcony watching the boats come and go!

This location was absolutely perfect. The description was spot on, and the photos truly do not do justice to the views and charm of this property. The unit was clean, comfortable, and incredibly well-located, tucked just above the historic St. Thomas Synagogue, which made it easy to find once we used that landmark for navigation. Michael was an outstanding host, responsive, thoughtful, and helpful from the moment we booked through checkout. His local recommendations were appreciated and added to the overall experience. The check-in process was seamless, and although the roads are narrow, the short walk from the synagogue made access simple and straightforward. The villa itself is peaceful, beautifully appointed, and full of island character. We especially appreciated the proximity to downtown Charlotte Amalie and the short drive to shops, restaurants, and grocery options. This property will be my go-to spot every time I return to St. Thomas. It is rare to find.

Tropical Tranquility was incredible BUT Ferris ( the concierge...even though that's not his official title) was the BEST! He helped us from the time we checked in to departure. Ferris went above and beyond for our family. The night we drove in, we got lost in the dark and our GPS went down. Ferris was a lifesaver! He was super responsive and even took his car to meet and find us on the mountain roads. He let us follow him while he guided us to the home. Ferris was a wealth of knowledge and told us where to eat and all the fun things to do. He even surprised us with a bottle of wine that he left by our door. He made our trip so memorable! The home was in a safe area and the view was amazing. It is close to downtown (10 minutes). The infinity pool was simply incredible and the kids loved hanging out underneath the cabana area in the evenings. The a/c in the 2 rooms were ice cold and the living area was super comfortable. 5 stars!

I can't say enough about this space. The room was spacious and clean. Nice sized bathroom. It is a very peaceful area and just a few steps away from the beach. We enjoyed snorkeling and some night kayaking. We also enjoyed some relaxing time by the pool. There are two great restaurants with views of the beach on location, and you are walking distance to additional restaurants at the Ritz Carlton. I loved the nightly walks on the beach after dining. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and I loved that I could bring my 5lbs chihuahua and everyone was so sweet to her. We were a 5 min taxi ride away from Red Hook where we enjoyed some shopping additional dining, nightlife and a ferry to St. Johns. Jennifer was super responsive and very clear with instructions and things to do. I recommend this location to anyone that want to be away from the noise and want to embrace the tranquility and the beauty that is St. Thomas.

Great condo with ocean view. Everything you need within 8 min taxi or oven walking on the resort. The host and staff at the resort were super nice and pleasant. Thank you again. Till the next trip

We had such an amazing stay at this condo. Communication from the hosts fantastic with detailed arrival/departure info. Offered personal recommendations which I highly recommend taking them up on! Managed to lock ourselves out in the first 30 min after arriving (completely our fault!) and the hosts were incredibly responsive and quick to aid us in gaining re-entry. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Three patios with furniture to sit and enjoy. Quiet air conditioning units for each room. Beds, pillows, couch were all extremely comfortable. Three full bathrooms all updated, clean, and stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body soap-such a great surprise! Kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed including saran, baggies, tupperwear, coffee, dish soap. Washer and dryer in unit were clutch. Restaurants on-site were delicious and convenient. Finally, a perfect location in east end for all sorts of activities. Can't wait to return and would 10/10 stay here again. Thanks!

Convenient room in a resort on St. Thomas. Beach of its own and easy walk to the St. Thomas Yacht Club for a sail or sailing lesson if you like. Short distance from restaurants in Red Hook.

Mercedes was a great host and the place was very clean and exactly like the photos. The restaurant and breakfast spot nearby help a lot for convenience because the Mangen’s Bay Area is pretty remote from the cities.

We loved this condo. Well appointed kitchen including a dishwasher and all the appliances you could ask for. Washer and dryer were very useful after a day at the beach . Everything was so close that we didn’t feel we needed a car (even tho you get a dedicated parking space). Shared taxis to the beaches are just 5 mins walk away. We appreciated use of the included beach chairs which were easy to carry on trips .

Loved staying at Lime Tree! We stayed at 2 places in St. Thomas. This one, and one at Sapphire Beach. Lime Tree has a more secluded beach. It's small, but beautiful. If you're more into amazing view than getting in the ocean, this is great! There are some reefs around to snorkle (rent from the shop at the resort), but other than relaxing and eating, there's not much to do immediately around. The grounds were kept very clean. I would definitely stay here again for a lazy, relaxed retreat.

Do yourself a favor and book this spot. Larissa could not have been a better host and was so easy to talk to. We were exhausted when we got in after a very long travel day and Larissa helped us figure everything out. The unit is also spotless and the views are incredible. We loved it here. Wish I never had to leave.
