Vacation rentals with a pool in Saint James

Stayed at Pat's place for a friends 50th Birthday, that was hosted in Holetown and at the Sea Shed restaurant. Great location in the middle of the West Coast so easy to get around. We were out of the villa for most of the time we were there but enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had just about everything you would need for the visit, down to even a chips bag clasp! Beds were comfortable as were the cool air conditioning units. Wifi was very fast and easy to connect to. All in all we had a great stay and would stay again. We were a party of 7 lovely ladies! Each and every person loved the stay! It was very clean with a house keeper coming in twice a week to clean and change out linens and empty the trash! We were given access to a private beach club where Derrick did us right! As far as location is concerned it was cool but what we realized was no matter what side we resided on everything is 30 mins away! We had a rental and we needed it and you will also. So get a rental! The kitchen had mostly everything that was needed to prepare meals and everything worked as it should! The only complaint I have is that the bathroom in the master floods water when showering. It is very annoying because it was so bad we mopped and had to dump the mop bucket twice! That really needs to be fixed but because there were three other bathrooms I used another shower! Other than that I’d stay here every time I visit Barbados because the place is just that nice! They have a gym you can use at anytime and a pool on the grounds

I must say, this is a beautiful place. Geoffrey was very friendly, our flight got delayed an and he went to the market to gather some things for our arrival. The place overall is beautiful plenty of chairs to tan outside with the family, and a great salt water pool. They even have tikis in the back and a grill for a great family bbq. This bnb provided everything u could name for a perfect stay away from home. I would highly recommend for anyone else to book.

We stayed at Palm House in Feb 24, 6 in total, 3 of them children. I'd probably say the photos of the villa don't fully do it justice - villa was a great size for 6 of us. Large bedrooms and bathrooms, garden area is larger than we had anticipated. Small pool just outside of garden gate, then large 25m pool through another gate. Beach, restaurants and bars only a couple of min walk. Local 24hr garage for minor supplies approx 5min walk and Speghitstown is either a 5min drive or 30min walk away. Ideal location and would highly recommend.

We loved the location of Lynn-Marie’s House - less than a 5 minute walk to Mullins Beach, lots of great bars and restaurants near by, gas station very close to get supplies and the house itself is set back from the main road so it was very peaceful! The house was spacious and clean with great internet! Lynn-Marie was very helpful. Would highly recommend!

Little Bimshire is a beautiful gem of a place. Alec and Andrea are the most lovely and accommodating hosts, they are always just a shout away if you need help with anything. It absolutely blew us away how beautiful it is, you can feel the thought that has gone into all the little touches. The pictures do not do it justice, all the rooms are large and breezy. The kitchen has everything you need and more (we made a full Sunday roast dinner, and plenty of English breakfasts). The tropical gardens and pool area are perfect for chilling. Location wise is the perfect balance of quiet but only a a 5 min walk to the popular 1st and 2nd street if you fancy a lively drink. The beach is roughly 7 min walk with plenty of amenities. Massys and Clifton supermarkets are a few minutes down the road. We hired a car this trip, but 100% recommend Little Bimshire to people who don’t drive or don’t want to hire a car as everything you need is only a few minutes walk. Thank you so much :-)

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. It has everything you need and is easily walkable into Holetown. We even had monkeys in the garden on the first and last days! Kimberly and Louise are great hosts and very attentive. Kimberly has lots of local knowledge and advice and very helpful and always contactable. The photos of the Villa are very good and accurate, in real life it does look a little more tired in places but that didn't detract from our stay.

We had a very nice stay at Carlton's place. Clean, quiet, good climate control at the house. Safe and quiet neighborhood while in walking distance to everything: beaches, groceries, nice restaurants. It is about 7 minutes walk. The only downside, it is too hot for walking :) Kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking, however, we only cooked breakfast, using local restaurants for the rest of the day. You can find plenty here for any taste along the beach and at the mall. The beach is beautiful. Ambrella and 2 sunbeds are easily available for $10 US for the day. Nice snorkeling right at the spot, motosports for rent. People are extremely friendly at the island. it is our 3rd visit to Barbados, and we will definitely come back

Had an excellent time, thank you sharing your place. Very clean and airy feel, nice large verandah with comfy sitting and view of the sea. Close to Holetown (by car or bus) and Mullins and Speightstown. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Wi-fi was fast, and TV if needed. There was even ice in the freezer on arrival.

Good host, always attentive to the queries we had and to our arrival. The location is good. Close to holetown with several restaurant options and close to access to the beaches. The location is quite central if you want to see the whole island.

My first time in Barbados and I am so blessed and thankful that I stayed here, Leanne is a wonderful host and person, she is friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay here and really missed when we left, we really wished we booked longer. Leanne made our stay much more easier and comfortable and for that I am really grateful to her

Lantana 38 is in a great location. In the middle of Holetown and Speightstown. This meant that everything was really easy to get to. Mullins is a 5 minute drive and Holetown just under 10. The ground floor location makes access to the communal pool very easy. There is a beach club a few minutes down the road and it’s very close to popular restaurants such as Lone Star. Tina the house manager was lovely, responding very quickly to any questions I had and she popped over to meet us in person too. Access to the property is very easy and Vanessa kindly allowed a slightly later check out to coincide with our flight. We have been visiting Barbados for over 20 years and this is one of the nicer properties we have stayed in. Overall we had a great stay at Lantana and we would definitely go back again. Place was perfect, found location a bit challenging being a solo traveller but that’s my fault. There are bus stops at the end of the road but mostly have to catch the yellow “reggae” buses to get to main terminals/supermarket, only a few transport board buses travel through Weston stops are quite infrequent. Super easy to get in and felt very safe throughout. I think the photos showed the place having a bath, it does only have a shower. The place is opposite a primary school so between 08:30-15:00 it can be a little noisy and a lot of traffic down Taylor’s Gap - but that didn’t bother me at all. The beach up the road from the place was stunning. Plenty of parking available if you hire a car. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

This place is a real gem! 2 bedrooms each had plenty of storage space, bedding was clean and comfortable, bathrooms functional and with ample towels. Kitchen had all utensils, dishes and cookware for making full meals! Very clean and organized. Huge balcony with beautiful and comfortable furniture was such a great space to spend time when away from the beach! Bus stop right in front of the apartment was very convenient and we even cought a bus straight to the Airport (takes a bit over an hour and costs only 3.5 Bajan!!!). Jordan's supermarket is 10 min walk south and Massy supermarket 5 min bus drive north. We loved everything about this place and will come back very soon!

We had a wonderful stay Beautiful views and lots to do in the area. Can't wait to return

The property was close to the centre of Hometown an a short walk to the beach and beach club. Always felt safe when returning home in the dark evenings. The beach club was open from dawn to dusk with plenty of sun loungers around the pool. The closest beach was secluded and safe for swimming and snorkelling although the loose coral stones were washed up and down in the waves and the initial getting in and out of the water could be difficult, but many people used the pool.

This was our first trip to Barbados and Viv’s beautiful house exceeded expectations. It’s perfectly private with a short walk to a pristine beach. Holetown is a few minutes drive or a short walk where you have a supermarket Massy and great restaurants are a plenty along the coast line. The management team were terrific and sorted a cook for the nights we wanted to eat in and were on hand to sort drivers and excursions. Viv was a terrific host checking in with us throughout the stay. Deborah the housekeeper was lovely and helpful and on hand to

What a treat to be able to spend the week at Seaview. A perfect escape from dreary, wet and grey UK. The accommodation was to a high standard and the views from the various vantage positions tip top. Got to see local wildlife like green monkeys, hummingbirds etc on a daily basis. Pool and hot tub - more treats. Garden area was really special too. Teenage kids loved it for the Insta photo opportunities! A special mention to Natalie who was off the scale helpful. She understood us quirky Brits and shared top class, local information to help us navigate the way to a perfect first trip to Barbados.

Beautiful house in a great location… we absolutely loved our stay here. The house had loads of space for us( 4 adults and a baby), it was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and felt like a real home from home. The beds were so comfortable, showers were good, kitchen well equipped, it had everything we could possibly need. We loved having the garden( complete with monkeys and hummingbirds!) and pool( perfect for the baby) as well as access to the Beach Club which is a short walk away. Fabulous location, we are regular visitors to Barbados and this was our favourite place so far, shops, coffee shops and restaurants are all on your doorstep! Thank you so much to Mark & Dawn for being great hosts, they always responded quickly to our questions as well as thoughtfully providing a baby cot and stocking our fridge with groceries and delicious locally made cake for our arrival! We would highly recommend Carambola Cottage and are hoping we can return again soon!
