The cottage is located in the forest on top of a hill within walking distance of Le Barroux. There are a couple of houses in the area but it is very quiet and beautiful. The cottage is free in the beautiful, natural garden, ideal for a stay with a dog. The atmosphere is very casual, perfect for relaxing. From the olive grove that belongs to the garden, you have a great view of the castle of Le Barroux. Inside there is a nice, well equipped kitchen, a spacious living room and separate bedroom with a half open bathroom. The cottage is simple, but cozy furnished. Everything you need is here. The communication with and reception by Ghislaine and Patrick was very pleasant. Personal but also to-the-point. The area between the Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles in is beautiful, with many beautiful walks and villages a short distance away. I thought it was a very atmospheric, relaxing place, where I will be happy to come back. Merci Ghislaine and Patrick!

We really enjoyed our stay in Justine’s place. It was very comfortable for the two of us. We cooked four dinners “at home,” and really took advantage of the great stove and nice cookware. It is an easy walk to the village, the supermarket , the 2 boulangeries, the cafe, the Tuesday market. We spent the days exploring the Dentelles and beyond. There is a lovely outdoor area with olive trees, a massive cedar tree, 2 outdoor tables and plenty of seating. Happily we had perfect weather, but the nicely furnished covered patio would be a lifesaver if you have a few days of rain.
