Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Saint Helena Bay

Liaan's place was the perfect space for our family plus our dog to relax for a few days in the beautiful sunshine at Langabaan. It really was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and Liaan was flexible with arrival and check-out times which was much appreciated. Lovely outdoor areas to entertain in and the outside bunk room was perfect for the teenagers. Would love to return.

What a lovely stay ! Felt right at home , very spacious house and had all the amenities I needed. Beautiful , safe area as well. Highly recommend this lovely home.

We loved the place and all the extras like wood, spices, hand soaps, cleaning gear and the fact that the place allowed our fur babies. The water filter on the tap is awesome and all the amenities are super.

The house was amazing. Very beautiful and spacious house, great bedrooms and bathrooms and an amazing terrace with view of a golfcourse and many animals walking around. Only downside was no airco, but it didn’t get too hot. Would definitely recommend! Very safe in a gated community and good communication by host.

Phenomenal location & views. Fenced & child friendly with sandy beaches for play, swim, surf & kiting whilst all can be observed from the comfort of a massive porch & braai. The house basic (exactly what we wanted from a beach house / seaside cottage) with great layout and perfect for a family or large group. We’ll definitely be back Thank you Richard, Kerry & Karen

Magical place. Great location and a dream for the kids being so close to the water. House has everything you need and layout works great if you have kids and friends over. We will be visiting this spot very soon again..and regularly!

Adri was responsive and friendly throughout the booking process. The kids throughly enjoyed the pool and the easy access to Shark Bay. We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone especially if you’re travelling with little ones!

We had lovely time. The weather was a little chilly so the heated pool was a bonus. Unfortunately my daughter got ill during our stay but the house is located around the corner from a doctor surgery which was really great, and even though we did not get an opportunity to go to the beach, the bar area with pool table/table tennis/darts and the board games in the house kept us entertained. Good selection of entertainment on the TV too.

The perfect place away from home. It has EVERYTHING one requires. Worth a visit. If I had to return to Langebaan, this would be my top pick. I cannot rave about this enough.

A lovely apartment, close to loads of activities and beautiful scenery. Apartment has everything you need and is a clean living space.

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It has a nice interior, is well equipped and in a very good condition. It is close to the beach and there are also a lot of beach toys for children. Catherine and Michelle have always been helpful, friendly and generous and gave us good tips about the surroundings. We had a truly fantastic stay at Vanessa’s place and would highly recommend it. The check-in process was seamless, and the property was spotless upon arrival. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. The location is perfect, close to the beach with a lovely sea view. Plenty of restaurants and attractions nearby, making it an ideal spot. The home is well-equipped with top-notch amenities. The beds were comfortable, and the Wi-Fi speed adequate. The Braai/BBQ area was a highlight—fully equipped, sheltered from rain and wind. We also appreciated the reliable power supply during load shedding and convenient parking for two cars. Vanessa and her husband were exceptional hosts—always friendly, responsive, and eager to help. Vanessa truly goes out of her way to ensure a great experience. The property included many thoughtful extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. It offers great value for money and made for a wonderful getaway. We will stay here again. Thank you Vanessa!

Place is as beautiful as it looks on the pictures, very close to the mall, garage, beach, quad biking, restaurants. It's great for people without cars even. Would gladly come back.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay if you want to be central with a touch of home. Very comfortable, clean and secure place and everything you need is in walkable distance, beach, grocery store, restaurants and night life. But in a quiet close and just far away from the hustle and bustle. Spacious enough for a family of 4.

Just a stone throw away from the beautiful Atlantic Ocean in all her glory. The beach has an abundance of flat stones, making it a mecca for someone who enjoys stone-skippimg whilst taking in the amazing views. The beach is pristine, and you'll see the random (large) crayfish just walking past you as if going for a stroll. So many west coast mussels all around too. The area is very quiet, with the occasional spotting of anotber resident. The closest shop is in the next town, a short drive away. The rest of the space is beautifully designed, functional, good braai area. Flowy lounge and kitchen area. Good strong wifi, fully equipped for self catering, lovely outside braai area.

while the decor is relatively simple and even a little dated, the view from this home is what it's all about. it's even better than the photos. you are literally on top of the waves. a location you don't get often. the rock pools below were fun, the beach is a stones throw away and I actually watched my kids playing on their boogie boards from an armchair in the lounge! I'd have loved to have seen a booklet of things to do, suppliers to use (we ended up renting a wetsuit as the sea was super cold), restaurants to go to (we had a really short stay so stayed in both nights), etc. but no complaints at all. A really special stay

We had a lovely stay at this great house. We were a family with 2 young kids and it worked perfectly for us. It’s an easy walk to lovely restaurant and had a gorgeous beach a minutes walk away. Annora was super welcoming and has a great booklet of recommendations. A great place to enjoy Paternoster from.
