Great stay. House is amazing.

The chalet in the rising sun is extremely well located, far enough from others to feel disconnected. Yes, the ground is cold in winter, but with slippers with soles (not just slippers) we are very comfortable. The site itself is breathtaking in winter! Very well cleared of snow even after a big storm. We did the snowshoe hike along the gorges... Very well marked and breathtaking views! Note that some small climbs could be difficult for some, as they are rather steep (sometimes there are ropes to help us, fortunately). François is very welcoming and friendly! He even helped us out and made local suggestions. The Geronimo Wilderness is aptly named!

Chantale’s place was serene, on a beautifully quiet lake and the place itself is quite high end compared to a typical chalet. Easy to get to and a wonderful way to get away from the city for a few nights. Highly recommend.

My family, dogs and I enjoyed our stay despite the rainy weather. There were several things to do on site and nearby. Our dogs were able to stretch their legs on the terrain trails and at Mount Orford! A special appreciation for the excellent espresso machine to enjoy the little gray mornings! It was easy to communicate with Maximilien and he was available to answer our questions.
