Cottage vacation rentals in Saint-Bernard

It was a great stay at Maison Bélanger Roux. The location is 15min drive from Downtown (where we visited the most) and 10min drive from the waterfall Montmorency. the house is amazing. We didn’t got time to try the spa, but all the amenities are just as listed. The only thing I would recommend is to have one more shower on the first floor, to accommodate a large group of guests (we were 8). Otherwise, it was a wonderful trip. Great Quebec heritage with modern amenities. Thank you for having us!

Nice place, clean and charming. The place was well equipped. The fact that there was, for example, coffee and toilet paper in good quantity pleasantly surprised us, because it is not necessarily the norm. We enjoyed that the spa was hot. Also, the host's directions were very clear.

Carole is an incredibly nice person and a wonderful host. We felt at home straight away and this has been one of the most beautiful a cozy houses we've ever stayed in. The nature and view is breathtaking. Great location for number of activities, absolutely private and yet not too far to Quebec. The jacuzzi was amazing, especially during the colder evenings. We loved every minute of the stay. It's absolutely worth the money. Don't hesitate a minute. It's really a little hidden paradise, you will want to stay back at the place and just relax and opportunities for hiking, etc. are numerous. We enjoyed the recommended places in the neighborhood and the rafting on the river was a real highlight. Thanks to Carole we had everything we needed and more. 😊👌

Great stay! The island of Orleans is very quiet in the winter, but we were close to everything!! We loved the character of the house and all the little touches!

Brilliant stay as we enjoyed four nights in this little slice of heaven, just 25 mins from Quebec City. It rained the entire time - and we didn’t mind one bit. Exactly as described, we had no problem putting up our feet and soaking in the surroundings. Best soft serve we’ve ever had at the nearby Chocolaterie de l'Île d'Orléans (two min drive?). Also recommending walking along the beach areas when the tide goes out. A full drive of the island is mandatory imo and we also enjoyed a hearty lunch at Le Moulin de St-Laurent. Sebastien was the consummate host. Five stars all around.

The place was absolutely beautiful. It has a scenic view of the Lawrence River. We loved our stay. The host was responsive and quick when we ran into a door lock issue. The host quickly resolved it. The place has all amenities and things anyone would want. We had a great time at the place. We would definitely recommend it to anyone!

We could not have chosen a better place than Réjean's chalet to celebrate Christmas with our family. We've been renting airbnb's for many years, but this was the most peaceful and fully-stocked rental we've ever come across. The owners thought of everything to make our stay cozy and inviting. Réjean made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the surroundings were picturesque. We would go snowshoeing in the woods and enjoy a nice wood-burning fireplace and hot chocolate when we got back. And our boys loved sliding on the slope! We couldn't imagine a better spot for our family of 7 and hope to come back soon!

It was a lovely space to wait out the snow storm. Beautiful cottage and area.

Small, inviting and comfortable cottage. It's nice to always have a lake view. The kitchen is quite well equipped. At the time we visited, we were unable to cook on the BBQ, but the host will check that. GOOD TO KNOW: there are fairly close neighbors on both sides. We can hear the neighbor on the left when he speaks outside, even when we are inside (windows open). The rest matches the photos and it's a perfect place to go to relax. We would be willing to rent again.

We loved our family stay. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we had to have fun. We enjoyed the edge of the water and outdoor games. I would recommend this cottage if you are looking for tranquility and a warm place for your whole family (young and old).

Great place and hospitality!

Everything was perfect at Chalet le Shack! The space was exactly what we needed, the kitchen is well equipped, and very nice bathrooms with lots of towels! The location cannot be beat if you’re coming to cross country ski. Quick access to groceries and restaurants. We hope to come back again next winter!
