Beautiful cottage in peaceful surroundings. Just a passport for our party for its size and location. Lovely steam in the sauna when it's warming up properly. The hot tub was enjoyed in the moonlight. Very smooth and flexible communication with the host. Thanks!

Celebrated Midsummer with a dog and a 1-year-old child. The small sandy area was nice for the child and the place is at the end of the road so the dog could be free. Everything needed was found inside and outside and we managed without problems. You get used to the sound of Jyväskyläntie mentioned in the description and when grilling, smoking, etc., you no longer notice them. A short distance to Sysmä/Hartola/Heinola where there are shops and services and water fountains for drinking water replenishment. No complaints from our family!

Host friendly and nice. We spent a peaceful and relaxed weekend with a group of friends using the hot tub/pool, and jogging with a dog in the surrounding area.

A really charming old farmhouse with courtyards. The sauna provided soothing steam. It felt really nice to arrive when we were welcomed by Kaisa, who had heated the oven especially for us. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. We would be happy to come again.

We went on a trip with a group of 3 people with a day's notice and yes, it was worth it, Torppa thought we were good! Ilkka is extremely friendly as a host and welcomed us warmly, introducing the places. Everything needed was found in the barn; the sauna steam was softly dim and after that you slept sweetly. Blackbirds sang in the background as we sipped our morning coffee. It was convenient to get around the neighborhood by car. I highly recommend it!

An absolutely fantastic stay! The sauna was top-notch – with direct access to the lake, perfect for cooling off after a session. The view was stunning and made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. Everything i needed was there, plenty of firewood and even a gas grill i used to cook a great meal. Everything was well prepared and in great condition. A truly unique experience in nature – I’d love to come back!

What a great place on the lake. The cottage is very nice and Illka is a very friendly host. For the children, nice toys were put down and they also had fun in the garden for hours. Highly recommended for young and old!

A cozy little cottage with everything you need. The location was wonderfully peaceful, although there were also other cottages nearby. Special mention of the clean bathroom and good steam in the cabin sauna. I would have liked to stay here longer (now we were just on a one-night stopover).

Fantastic mökki in unbeliavably beautiful scenery! Arja is a great host and the cottage has everything one needs. if you are looking for a getaway in a very remote private place, this is for you. it is not super easy to get there. next Shop is about 35 min away with the car. you should plan your shopping well. I can't recommend Pöllötupa enough. Will come again!

Stay in the best Everything is perfect. I came last year at the invitation of a friend, and I liked it so much I'm here again. It's so nice that I want to go again next time. There is 1 sauna outside and 1 inside There is a lake right in front, so you can play in the water and take a boat, and the water is not deep at all, so I think you can play well with the kids.

The cottage was in a great location in privacy! I would have loved to have stayed here longer. The sauna provided good steam and there was just the right amount of space in the cottage. The dog was also comfortable with freedom and a shallow beach where you could wade. Highly recommended!

This place is a gem! Perfect location, built by hand, amazing hosts and last but not least, the sauna was the best! Very helpful and friendly hosts, even booked us a taxi back to Jyvaskyla train station for our early departure. An easy 5 stars, would recommend to anyone. Sitting by the woodstove was the best way to end the day after hiking on the trails in the magical forest close to the BnB.

Joonas's place was excellent. We loved the sauna the very most. The lake view was stunning and we were in total privacy. Would recommend to anyone.

Timo's cabin is a relaxing and charming place. Lost in nature, you have to think about shopping before you arrive. The isolation is very nice. Timo provides a boat and inflatable paddleboards, which we really enjoyed. The sauna with a lake view is very soothing. Timo is very responsive and welcomed us himself. Thank you for everything!
