Dorina and Mauro were fabulous hosts. We arrived later than anticipated and they stayed up late to greet us personally and show us the space in detail. They are a very kind and charming couple. Their accommodations were spotless, extremely comfortable and private. We felt at home and had everything that we needed right at our disposal. The morning espresso on the patio was a very special treat. I would 10/10 recommend Dorina and Mauro and their lovely apartment to anyone traveling through or near Quinto!

We were extremely well hosted by Jacqueline, a warm host who takes obviously enjoys welcoming visitors. She is also discreet but always available when needed. The apartment is impeccably clean, the bedding is impeccable and the kitchen is perfectly equipped. The place is very nice, quiet and conveniently located for hiking, exploring the surroundings or visiting Bern. We highly recommend this place which is really perfect in every way. We've been there for an Easter holiday with our parents, and it was amazing. Paul & Silvia are wonderful, communicative and friendly hosts, their place was great and we have had unforgettable time - beautiful places around Locarno in the first part of the day, and chilling out with picturesque views in the afternoons. Because of multitude of things to see in the area, I recommend visiting by car if only to have freedom of where to go. Also, the town of Agarone has nice walkable paths that we've discovered only too late (these do not show up on Google Maps). All in all, we were very happy with our holiday and would strongly recommend Paul & Silvia as hosts.

Great place with a fantastic view of the lake! I found everything to be as described with the sauna being an obvious highlight. Due to the house being located at a cul-de-sac, it feels very private (except for the odd rando intrigued by the view or the owner's sister collecting some furniture on Easter weekend). The autobahn is nearby, but its sound doesn't overwhelm that of the cow bells, so no big deal.

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had such a lovely week at Guiseppe's house. It was very comfortable, and the location was stunning. The views! We came without a car and were a little nervous about that, but it was all so easy. So many hikes just steps from the door. Easy to walk to Sonogno for good food and more beautiful hiking, and there is also a lovely restaurant just down the road in Frasco. Also, the buses are up and down the hill very regularly and it picks up just a block down from the house. Only thing to know is to get any groceries in Tenero or in Brione.

We had a great stay. The house was very comfortable with a beautiful view. The pool is shared but we never met someone else. You can "hike" down to the lake, there is a nice footpath just behind the house. I would recommend booking this lovely place only if you have a car.

There were four of us as a round of friends in this beautiful house and we had a completely relaxing time. The accommodation is renovated with a lot of love and taste – especially the photo album for remodeling impressed us very much and shows how much work and care went into it. The location is spectacular: the view of the Alps is hard to put into words, and the walk to the Schmuusi bank under the large Linde is absolutely recommended – a real highlight with panoramic views. Everything worked out great organizationally too – the hosts were always easily accessible and helped with questions quickly and solution-oriented. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend this special place!

Everything about our stay was great! There were clear check in/out instructions, and we had no problem finding anything! We walked everywhere (max 20ish mins), so the location was good. The host went above and beyond to make our stay as smooth and memorable as possible. You can tell she put a lot of thought for her guests!

One of the best Airbnb homes in a long time – there were two of us there for a week. Spacious space, very chic and stylishly furnished, and of course the hot tub on the very large roof terrace is a highlight - or just spend the evening in front of the cozy fireplace. Everything is available in the immediate vicinity on foot (shops, restaurants, etc.) Overall highly recommended!

If you are looking to explore Central Switzerland then this place is a perfect place to use as a hub. The apartment was just as described and in fact more spacious than we expected. The views are spectacular over the lake and the mountains. The host was very helpful and responsive and was quick to answer all our questions. The location is easy walking distance to fantastic restaurants, the lake, the village of Weggis and the boat stop. We took the boat into Luzern which was absolutely fantastic. We would highly recommend the Appartment and will definitely return when back in the area.

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

This place is really wonderful. The location is great, you can quickly reach the city center or the lake. The shops are within walking distance. The garden is beautiful and relaxing. Everything was available and sparkling clean. Marco was very friendly especially to our 4-year-old son. The only challenge was the creaking floorboards (especially if you want to sneak out of the room after the sleep companion ;)). The apartment is also very audible. The beds and pillows/blankets were very comfortable and pleasant.

Great stay at Stéphane's apartment. The amenities, the comfort, the view... Everything is there to spend some nice refreshing moments. Stéphane is very responsive and we see that he likes to do his tenants a favor. We'll be back for sure! 😊

This apartment is the sort of place for which AirBNB was intended. Places that go beyond a cookie-cutter hotel experience and offer some combination of extra space for a family, a kitchen, a remarkable view, and/or some other set of components which make the experience "special". The apartment is as described in the listing, along with detailed instructions for everything including parking, use of the hot tub (which we didn't use), trash, what is available within walking distance, and suggestions on what to do and where to go. Two comments: (1) There is bus service with the stop directly across the street. However, the area is a bit more isolated (and hence peaceful) than staying closer to Interlaken and it's really a place where a car is preferred but not required. (2) Beatenberg is a tiny with only one other hotel+restaurant open during the week when we were there. Helps with tranquility, not for those looking for "party + night life". We loved it, but be aware.

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how well the coffee ended and this without capsules. happy to be back in Patrizia's apartment.

This studio is fantastic. Large, super clean and comfortable. Very quiet. My husband was ready to move in! Lots of little touches to make life convenient like oil and vinegar at the ready. The location is super although it took us a day to figure it out. The parking spot is a great advantage. Leave the car (parking in town is super expensive) and walk down or take the bus or funicular. Grocery store also close by. Love the town which is also a great base to use to visit Geneva, Lausanne, Bern and many other places. Plus it is easy to spend 2-3 days exploring Fribourg. We would definitely come back and would rent this place again. We loved it!

The apartment is very well appointed and equipped. It is close to ski lifts as well as shops and restaurants. The parking spaces available in front of the building are also very convenient. It is in a very quiet area and the view from the balcony is beautiful. This is a place to recommend.

Great place and location, very recommend

A very nicely located apartment with good views of the countryside. If you are looking for absolute peace, you could feel disturbed by the playground with the children playing (no problem for us). Great as a base for exploring the region! Barbara explained everything very well in advance and also contacted me in between. Very pleasant!
