Both the chicken and pork were great. Bread is crispy, both meats flavorful.. My ordered came to me like five minutes after I ordered, so I assume they have the meat cooked/prepped for the lunch rush.

We had breakfast the first day we were there and then later the chicken pot pies, and the tuna salad sandwiches and the chocolate croissants...but we really liked walking around the store and checking out everything from the swiss gourmet food area to the US made bag collection. Clearly very eclectic, but a lot of thought goes into every piece that's inside this store and everything is good quality and unusual.

How I heard of this place: It was over a decade ago when I first learned of Farestart, its mission and the reason I often recommend the space to friends and colleagues interested in a lunchtime restaurant suggestion. Type of cuisine: Five star food served in a modern setting and three star prices. Extraordinary and well-known local chefs offer their time and energy to provide training and expertise in crafting beautiful fare for the masses at (more) affordable prices.

Reasonably priced meal for salad, pasta, pizza, etc. Parking available in the garage, validated. Virtually no wait. Happy hour available 3-6 and 9-close (11pm). Space Needle view as well as a view of the oven. Heated patio seating available outside. For a party of four, we ordered a salad and 2 pizzas. All were good sizes, and standard flavor. Thin crust.

This place is not cheap, in fact, it's priced slightly higher than most steak house around town; but one thing for sure: they know their steak. Last night we came in as a party of 5 and ordered several appetizers/sides and 64oz tomahawk ribeye; the check ended up to be around $450 but the steak was worth every penny! A big props to our server who was super helpful and attentive.

Yummy as usual! Added the hot white chocolate to my coffee was a sweet delicious treat! This was the perfect coffee for a cold, rainy Seattle afternoon!

Drinks & Nightlife

Nice cozy space. They also have an outdoor patio. Good place to go if you actually want to converse with your companions. They have great cocktails with something for everyone and a delicious burger. The cauliflower frites are also quite yummy.

Classy lounge inside the 13 Coins restaurant. Complete with leather chairs, a fire place, original black n white photos from their grand opening back in the 60's AND live music Fri n Sat nights.

I've been back 2 or 3 times since my first review and this is still my favorite late night spot near the Westin. Palace is open 7 days a week until 1 and less than a block away. The late night special changes regularly it seems like. Tonight I'm had the chicken rigatoni. Came with a huge chunk of garlic bread and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Pair that with a good beer and you're good to go.

Low light ambience, romantic scenery. That's when you can expect from knee-high stockings bar. The drinks are strong, the snacks are great, and it's a great bar to kick off the night. I love my bartender, he was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. If I'm ever in Seattle I would definitely go again.

After the line died down, we hopped on over and ordered to order the Desserted Island Pie and the Chicken Pot Pie. Both were absolutely delicious. (Although the sweet tooth in me has got to say the Desserted Island Pie was #1 in my book). In my opinion, the best part about any pie is the crust. The Desserted Island Pie had a crumbly and crunchy crust with what seemed like crystalized sugar on the rims. AMAZING!

n terms of food, my favorites include the steak and eggs, the Caesar salad with al pastor pork, and the hot wings. I ask for my steak to be medium and my eggs to be over easy, and in my world, it's simply the perfect brunch plate. The steak is juicy and seasoned with so much garlic, it's freaking heaven

I'm not sure if I explored the entirety of Waterfront Park, but from what I have seen so far, the stretch of land along Alaskan Way near the boats and next to the Aquarium is so beautiful! It's nearly impossible to judge a waterfront badly because water is water and seeing water is awesome! Take a ride on the great wheel!
