This is a great museum. Schedule a day and then take out or dine out after. You will be tired. their is food and drink available in Museum.

In the heart of downtown, SAM wows with its light-filled galleries housing everything from Australian aboriginal paintings and ancient Mediterranean sculptures to Native American house posts. Plus, its lineup of rotating special exhibits continues to draw arts-lovers season after season.

This is a fabulous place to spend a rainy day at. You can budget 1-2 hours to see the exhibits and learn more about local art. If you walk north afterwards, you'll find lots of shopping around Westlake Center near 4th and 5th Ave and Pike/Pine Streets
