Our local park is a 10 minute walk away with great views across London from the top. It has a children's playground, Pistachios in The Park Cafe serves great coffee with nice home made CAKE and hot food. There is an enclosed picnic area, cricket pitch, three tennis courts and a converted basketball court. A walk down the slope brings you to the Francis Drake Bowling Club. To mark the millennium, a stone circle of twelve large granite stones and two tall shadow-casting stones were erected in the park. It's just lovely to sit here with your friends and enjoy the views across to Crystal Palace.

A little gem of a museum, with all sort of curios and wonders, in particular, a very large stuffed Walrus. The kids never cease to be fascinated by the aquarium and lots of child-friendly activities
