Pack a bathing suit! Slide Rock includes a 1/2 mile of Oak Creek that is open for swimming, wading and sliding. The world-famous slide that our park is named for is an 80 foot-long slippery chute that is worn into sandstone. Situated alongside an apple orchard, Slide Rock is 80 feet long and 2.5 to 4 feet wide, with a seven percent decline from top to bottom. NOTE: Algae on the rocks creates the slippery ride, be careful!

Only steps from the parking lot/trail head you'll see one of the best eastern views of Sedona. We like to bring a chair and a bag of popcorn at sunset, it's amazing. The hiking trail loops around Table Top Mountain through basalt boulders & red rocks to panoramic views.

An amazing hike for those wanting a physical challenge but very rewarding. You'll want to take some breaks along the way and soak in the incredible views! The trail states 2.4 miles one way but it definitely feels longer! This one of the "favorite" hiking trails in Sedona. Don't forget lots of water!

You can access this trail from here by heading towards Chimney Rock. You can do a loop or extend your hiking for a longer experience. The trail goes up and down but is not too difficult. I would say moderate and likely okay for those whom are not regular hikers. Really beautiful scenery in all directions. Don't forget the sunscreen!

Arts & Culture

Your unforgettable Sedona experience must include spending time at internationally renowned Tlaquepaque (pronounced T-la-keh-pah-keh), Sedona Arizona's Arts & Crafts Village, on of the best things to do in Sedona. Nestled beneath the shade of the sycamores on the banks of beautiful Oak Creek in Sedona, Tlaquepaque is the most distinctive Sedona shopping experience to be found in the Southwest. Authentically fashioned after a traditional Mexican village, Tlaquepaque, meaning the "best of everything". Enjoy!
