Super popular for sights and cool down in the creek. Tip. Go early to get limited parking. Also keep going deeper into the canyon for quieter spot.
Off of Oak Creek Canyon is Slide Rock. There is a nominal charge. Go swinning and slide down the red rocks! Be sure to wear a pair of old jeans!
Natural water slides made from Sedona’s red rocks. Can be very busy on the weekends during warm weather but definitely a fun place to visit.
In the summer, this place is packed so arrive early. It's a short little hike right to the water. You have to pay to park and the parking lot fills up fast. You can bring an ice chest, or a picnic, and have fun in the shallow, slippery water.
This one of the top attraction in Oak Creek Canyon, North of Sedona. If you haven't heard about it, you can get in the creek and slide down a natural waterslide, than hike back up and do it again. The park fee is $11. Because of it's popularity, Slide Rock State Park fills up fast, so get there early to ensure that you can get in.
