Vegan - Organic - Local Sourced

Organic grocery store, sourcing products locally and around the world sustainably and ethically. Highly recommend, and also have a great “Naked Lunch” take out for meals.

Locally sourced, farm to table food- a bit pricier, but totally worth it. They book up fast, especially on weekends, so grab a spot!:)

Locally sourced, VERY pricey, and fancy—gets fish from the local areas and fishery market around street and is super close in Ivy City - 20min walk! Food is delicious.

Food scene

Ethiopian food, walkable from the house and supports local black-owned restaurants. Eden is a sweetheart and you can even go there for coffee in the morning!

Not to be confused with Panda Express...this is a local DC favorite for Chinese cuisine (talking any Asian foodie knows it), and it’s walkable/short drive.

Hands down one of my favorite Indian food places in DC. They have two locations, so be sure when you call you’re getting the right one. Well-known. The spinach appetizer is BOMb.

The least expensive best tasting Peruvian chicken you’ll find in DC. Get the whole chicken with 3 sides for around $30 and feed your entire family. It’s wild. And soooo tasty.
