The most gourmet hipster creamery you can find anywhere. Slightly on the pricey side ($12 for a small tub of deliciousness), but it's like crack in a mason jar, still worth every penny.

There're tons of Japanese izakayas (tapas-style eateries) in the city, but this one is my personal favourite. They offer a great selection of watermelon-themed drinks in the summertime.

One of my favourite coffee shops in the city. The coffee shop has a donut shop inside as well offering various gourmet donuts. Make sure you go early. I get espresso beans from here for my Breville.

MUST-GO!! It's won a whole bunch of awards for best Southeast Asian restaurant in the city few years in a row. It's kinda a hole-in-the-wall type deal. Line-ups get really awful so try going early.
