The biggest and the best beachside street markets in Darwin. Highly recommend getting there to watch the sun set over the water. Food, music and entertainment abounds. Favourite food stalls include the Lucky Cow (vegetarian) and Ken's Crepes for a banana and nutella crepe for desert :)

The parklands are huge right outside the back gate of the property. Some mornings it is teaming with wildlife such as red and white tail black cockatoos, frill neck lizards, white cockatoos, bush turkeys and other locals walking their dogs. There is a fabulous kids regional playground with even a flying fox! The sports oval is great too for taking a jog without going to far.
