  • Lovely clean quiet house within walking distance of the quaint village of Pettigoe, had a great stay here. Check-in was simple, met our host who was very accomodating and showed us around her house. We had everything we needed for a quiet stop over. Netflix on the smart TV was a nice bonus. Milk, bread, eggs, juice and cereal left for our breakfast. Nice clean house with oil fired central heating and logs in the stove if you wished to have your own fire. Nice simple meals within walking distance in the termon complex 9am to 9pm. Would highly recommend staying in this accomodation.

  • Myself and my partner stayed in Frankie's holiday home for May bank holiday weekend. Exactly as it looks on the pictures, location was perfect, it was near the Kesh, Lough Erne and Lusty Beg Island. The roads driving from Belfast were great. Lots of little extras provided were much appreciated such as milk, eggs, bread etc esp the wine. The fire and a glass of wine was total bliss for the evenings after being out all day sight seeing. We managed to pack in Enniskillen, Marble Arch Caves, Cauilcagh Mountain boardwalk, Lough Erne Resort and lunch at Lusty Beg Island. There was so much more to see and do so we will most definitely have to return. It is such a beautiful part of Ireland and Frankie's House is the perfect location for exploring this area, it is also very close to Donegal. I highly recommend this house and the people of Fermanagh are really friendly, if visiting Ireland this has to be on your list of stops. Stunning!

  • We had wonderful time at Johan's house. The directions were perfect and we found it with no problems. Johan was there to meet us with warm welcome.this place is lovely, cozy and had everything we needed even on cold night Johan gave us electric blanket to make us feel better!!thanks for that! We love this place so much and we will b back for 100% in the future! C u again Johan!

    Olga2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • The house is located in the middle of the Irish countryside. It is a great place if you want to relax and enjoy the peace of Ireland. Johan is a wonderful host, he will try his best to make you feel comfortable and at home. We found the house well equipped but not clean enough, specially the kitchen and common areas. That was a little bit unconfortable for us, specially when we had to share the shower with 2 more adults staying at the home. We told that to Johan, our host, and he took notice of that and we are sure he will put a solution for next time. The house has different amenities that make it almost like a little farm, you can feed the chicken, play with the cats and have a boat ride in the small pond in front of the house. It is not far from Donnegal.

    Eva2017-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed with Johan for three nights – he was a great host. He is very kind (he cooked for us when we arrived and made sure we were fed/coffee’d in the mornings!) and has some very interesting life stories to tell. Johan’s house is a converted school house and it is big – and therefore some of the rooms are obviously difficult to heat. Our room was a little bit chilly but with the help of hot water bottles and an electric blanket we soon got cosy! The living room/kitchen area was the focal point of the house and was very warm – and Johan was more than happy for us to spend time in there with him talking, drinking tea and having cuddles with the cat! When we booked the Airbnb we had the impression that we would have the place to ourselves as it says “entire home/flat”. However, we should point out that this place is Johan’s home. However, he is so generous and makes you feel so welcome that while you’re staying there he makes it feel like your home. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and it is an excellent base to explore Donegal.

    Agnès2016-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • First off I think it is important to point out that although we booked the 'Entire home/flat' this isn't strictly what we got. This is Johan's home and while he has guests he stays in one room of the property, completely unobtrusive and there is no issue with that, there is as much or as little interaction with him as we wanted. However I can understand that some people may find this a little off-putting - we didn't. The property is a lovely rustic converted school house with a lot of character and unique features. Johan has spent 30 years converting what would have been a run down building into what it is today, you could say it is a labour of love. He seems to be very self sufficient, a large vegetable patch, solar panels on the roof, 3 chickens and a rooster for fresh eggs daily - living the dream! As to be expected in a property of this type, cleanliness isn't always 100%, but this isn't a fault or criticism, it's merely stating a fact. This isn't a hotel, it's a converted schoolhouse in the middle of the (very pretty) Donegal countryside. Expect some dust and spiderwebs but also expect a lot of character and a very welcoming host. One thing I would recommend is to bring bottled water for brushing teeth etc, the water from the taps upstairs had a slight smell of sulphur. Johan very kindly provides drinking water from a local well, so again if that isn't your thing bring bottled water. We were a group of 7 adults and 4 children and the kids had a great time, there were countless musical instruments which the kids could play and they had a great time running around the property. One minor thing that could be improved is the gardens were a little overgrown but that didn't in anyway take away from our enjoyment.

    Kelvin2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • We spent a most extraordinary week with Johan. His romantic and uniquely transformed old school put a spell on us. Johan did everything to make us feel comfortable and showed us specialities in the neighbourhood. He is an open minded interesting host and we spent evenings talking with him about philosophical topics. Even though we had cold and wet wheather we had a great time. hens, rooster, goose and cat completed the lovely picture of that rural house.

    Ruth2016-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Johan was more than we could have asked for in a host. He was so accommodating and friendly and went out of his way the entire weekend to ensure we had what we needed and more. You couldn't meet a nicer person! The listing itself was exactly as pictured and better! It was exactly what we were looking for and had so much character, we will definitely be returning! The area was lovely and felt so remote and relaxing (which was exactly what we wanted) but there was also a town close by where you could get whatever you needed.

    Carol2016-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Friendly and welcoming host. Ideal spot to destress from city life, quiet and remote yet not too far a drive from areas of interest-Lough Derg/Glenties/Glenveagh National Park, and Donegal town/Bundoran. Would recommend.

    Mary2016-01-24T00:00:00Z

  • We stayed at Conal's chalet for three days over the long Bank Holiday Weekend and enjoyed every minute of it! So beautifully located by the lake and peaceful! A real hidden gem! I would love to keep this place as secret, it is so special! We were looking for a place where we could unwind and relax. And Erinona Chalet gave us just that! I cannot recommend it enough! We will definitely return :)

    Marta2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely chalet in a very scenic location. It is central for touring, and there is also plenty to do in the area - car essential. It is in a fairly rural spot, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place. The village is close and has good facilities. Eniskillen is around a half hour drive for more shops etc.

    Sinead2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Conal was a great host, staying in contact throughout our stay. The chalet itself is nice and cosy with fantastic views of the lake. Really isolated spot. A very nice little getaway. We'll be back!

  • Had a lovely stay in erinona chalet, isolated spot perfect to relax for a few days with amazing scenery from the chalet itself. Conal was a great host ensuring we had arrived safely and very prompt at responding to any questions we had.

    Lauren2016-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • The chalet was as it appeared in the photos. Very cosy and relaxing. Conal was easily contactable and checked in with us when we arrived. The only thing I will say was it could do with a slight clean in places and there were also no towels for the shower but Conal apologised for this. Despite this though we had a great stay!

    Ciara2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you so much Conal! This place was just stunning! So beautiful, peaceful and quiet. And the view,....just WOW!! Everything was good!

    Marie2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Erinona has one of the best views of anywhere I've ever stayed..even from the sofa! Great value for money. Accessible to loads of National Trust places. Quirky wee details in the chalet were fun. Really appreciated it being pet friendly. We'll be back!

  • Great little spot, tucked away over looking the Loch. About as private and idyllic as it gets. Basic but met all our needs. The host was a pleasant chap and checked in with us during our trip whilst respecting our privacy.

  • This place is just the best. So clean and just like home. Friendly, nothing is too much trouble, you just feel like mates from the word go. They are doing it because they love people, and they do it so well. You even get to go to the local for a drink with the hosts... Both Adele and Mervyn are just the right people for the life style. You don't have to do a thing, it is all done. TO PERFECTION. Thank you both....you have given us some great things to take on board.

    Barry2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Mervyn and Adele were perfect hosts. Directions and communication prior to arriving were welcomed and location of the house is amazing. Top view of the lake. Welcome was just right and room is spacious and well decodated with its own shower room. Good nights sleep and excellent breakfast which was more than we could eat. Got great tips for what to do that day and will definitely stay again to see Co. Donegal in the future. Top hosts and place. Thanks Kam and Ash

    Kamran2017-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • I had a really enjoyable time staying here, The local area is great and Mervyn's home is beautiful.

    Dominic2017-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay at Adele and Mervyn. The rooms (bedroom and bathroom) are clean and tidy. From the bedroom window you have a great view of the lake. They have a sweet little young dog (Toby) who greeted you in the morning at the bottom of the stairs! (He does not walk up the stairs). In advance Mervyn had asked us what we wanted to do. We wanted to rent a kayak and jump a cliff (coasteering) Mervyn has already offered information and possibly booking something. But, if we wanted to do that ourselves, it was also fine. Of course we would like to make use of his services! Adele and Mervyn are relaxed people who like to share their kitchen and room with you. I can recommend this address.

    Miriam & Jos2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Mervyn and Adele have a lovely home in an especially scenic location. Their generosity and helpfulness added greatly to our travels along the Atlantic Way. Their home had everything we needed, plus a cute and enthusiastic little dog. Highly recommended.

    John2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts, excellent accommodation and a lovely setting.

    Debbie2017-04-14T00:00:00Z
  • Very friendly hosts with a lovely, clean house in a wonderful location with brilliant views. Tea and coffee offered on arrival and welclmed to join for a glass of wine later in the evening if we chose to. Mervyn rang the restaurant we wanted to go - on a nearby island - to to ensure they were not hosting a Christmas function before we headed out for dinner. Fab recommendations for running routes nearby also. Overall perfect place to stay for a quick look around the Boa Island area, would have loved to have stayed for longer.

  • Amazing place for our family to stay! So peaceful with great views. The cottage could not be any better, it has everything you need. Anita was an amazing host, even provided us with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go. We will definitely be visiting again!

    Stefanie2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Anita was there to meet us on arrival - she was really friendly and wanted us to get the most out of our stay, she provided lots of great information about the area, practical info about the house which saved us looking for it and also left us some great scones! The location was great for making the most of the lough for some swimming and kayaking which was exactly what we wanted as well as being no distance to the coast and other walks. The house itself was clean, well equipped and perfect for relaxing. Just sorry we couldn't have a longer stay, will visit again!

    Kerry2016-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Anita's home is absolutely stunning! I live since 9 years in Ireland and Visited s lot of different places and I have to admit that this is the most beautiful place I have seen so far. If you are looking for a save and quiet place close to nature this is the place to go. The house is super clean and Anita is a role model for all other hosts on this platform! mary2017-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Anita's home is in the most beautiful place to spend time with the family. We all had a fantastic time. And whilst there is much to explore in the surrounding areas, we preferred just hanging out fishing by the lake as a family. Thank you very much.

  • This is very special, we were there during thunder and lightening so saw no stars but being inside a bubble during a storm was thrilling. We loved the how green the surroundings were, the lake and the walks. We loved the restaurant on site - do book in for a meal if you are staying. Pack a picnic for this beautiful place.

    Martha & Emmet2016-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Communication before we arrived was excellent and we were greeted warmly. We parked our car and were driven up to our bubble dome on a golf cart. It's about a 5 min walk but it was nice being shown around for the first time. The dome was amazing and very private. The shape inside made the acoustics weird and fantastic. The bed was very comfortable. There was coffee and bottled water for us and 2 very comfortable armchairs to sit and read under the stars. There's no closet space so one or two nights would be the maximum stay. However, it is well worth it. It rained the night we stayed and was mesmerizing. Breakfast the next morning was included and was first class. I would definitely come back and do this again as it was a unique experience in a beautiful part of Ireland

  • Absoluely stunning, a real treat to stay in this beautiful farmhouse. Very secluded but stunning, undisturbed sunsets. Décor is eclectic and beautiful throughout, and the bathroom is out-of-this-world beautiful. You wont regret choosing ArDrum Farmhouse

  • What a splendid find- so refreshing to stay in a farmhouse that has been lovingly restored. The finishing touches are tasteful and of top quality which are a rare find in hired accommodation. Can't wait to return with my family ... Thank you Sam! X

  • Great spot to get away, would highly recommend. Be careful if arriving after dark as it can be hard to see gates.

  • What a wonderful cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle. My family and I stayed for 1 night and it was a pleasure. Nice welcome basket upon arrival. The cottage was pristine. I loved the modern cottage feel. It was warm and inviting. I would highly recommend this cottage as a great place to relax, explore the area and enjoy life! We went to Giants Causeway which was fantastic. Wish we could have explored Enniskillen and Londonderry. A reason to come back and stay in this wonderful home. Great hosts, easy checking and beautiful environment.

    Jason2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best Airbnb's we've stayed at! The pictures don't do Ardrum justice, its a brilliant spot to stay at. Sam was a great host, providing us with all the information we needed and was only a call away if required. Hopefully, we can find an excuse to visit again soon.

    Alan2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed 5 nights at ArDrum farmhouse and totally enveloped ourselves in the home and the local area. On arriving at the red gates we did share a quick "what have we done" look at each other (being "townies")... on opening the door to the house this became a huge "Wow!". It is a beautiful home, excellently restored to allow you to feel the way it was, with the modern day additions that have made it fit the way we live today... Sam is just an airbnb message away and was very responsive on the one occasion we needed to contact him... The visitors log book is a great read and helpful with where to go and what to do while here... We came with provisions to fill the fridge & ample food storage space, cooked "at home" every evening after days of exploring the local towns and villages (and stopping on the way home at Monaghan's Bar @ The Cross to share the day's Craic!). With no neighbours, we slept with the shutters open and woke with the daylight and awesome views! We bought wood at the local garage/shop and added to the homely ambience via the lovely wood burner and watched the whole of Series 1 of Game of Thrones (the box set is in the unit under the TV)... The cast iron bath is a must... it wraps you in a warmth it's hard to get out of... The bed is so comfy and bedding we've taken a note of to replicate at home... I could go on and on... If I'm making this sound like heaven, it is the closest we've come...

  • What a wonderful place. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved that it was also secluded, although the location is within driving distance of many great attractions. The farmhouse itself is finished beautifully, just the right mix of old meets new. We will definitely return in the future.

This luxury cottage is in a prime waterfront location with uninterrupted views over Lough Erne. A quiet, cosy peaceful retreat yet only 2 miles from pubs and shops in Kesh.
  • Our family of five had a wonderful time staying at Jacky's cottage on Lough Erne. The furnishings in the home were attractive and of a higher standard than many holiday rentals we've stayed in. The children loved the bunk-beds, and my wife and I found the master bedroom comfortable with a nice view of the lake. The cottage is well-stocked with a fine open fire place that was ready to go upon our arrival. The lough is very peaceful and its proximity caused me to wish I owned a boat upon which to explore it further. We would happily stay again were we in the area.

Cosy trad cottage for couples, solo adventurers, small families and surfers. Rural setting brilliant for walking, hiking, cycling bird watching, etc. Local pub- weekend music. Nearby lakes. Handy for town shopping and sightseeing. Min stay 4 nights
I love my traditional cottage. It's setting is within a quiet and pretty...natural environment, foresty and lakes. There are wild deer, badgers and nearby farm animals. Inside is cosy, quirky, authentic, charming and comfortable. It is over 100 years old and full of charm and tradition... yet has all modern conveniences. Real turf that has been picked, dried and carried from the bog to keep you warm is available in abundance and stored in the byer next to the cottage. For a real Irish experience this is the home to stay in. The traditional turf range is a challenge for the most willing contestant but don't despair as there is a modern cooker only a switch away! Follow the rd either on foot, cycle or car 2 miles down to the local pub where Irish music , old and new is played at the weekends along with a pint of pure bliss- Guinness!!! Wifi available in pub in village and cafes in town..but very unreliable at the cottage.
I love the peacefulness of the area. The natural unspoilt beauty and scenery surrounding the cottage. Cycling or walking is safe and as challenging as you want it to be.
  • Wonderful, authentic cottage. Just know that there is no Wi-first or television, but, there are plenty of great dvd's. The home is cosy, and everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided. We did have a challenge when figuring out the stove and never did figure out the oven. This is close to Ballyshannon, and a short drive to Donegal. There is a lovely pub along the road too.

  • Bridie was an amazing host. The room was lovely and the breakfast perfect. Would highly recommend.

    Jess2016-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • The lodge was brilliant for our stay at the weekend. Everything that we needed and more. Bridie and James made us feel very welcome, a home away from home. They transported everyone into the village in the evening to go for food and drinks in the bar there which was brilliant for the evening. All in all it was excellent and I'd recommend it for anyone that would be staying in the area.

    Barry2016-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay with Bridie at the Dulrush Fishing Lodge - bedding was crisp and clean, breakfast delicious. Total entertainment by the peacocks. Bridie was helpful with things to do/see in the area based on your interests. Dinner at their pub in town (Black Cat Cove) was good and very reasonably-priced. As I drove up to the lodge around twilight, there were three red deer out in the field. Nice, peaceful place!

  • Great host! Beautiful house and awesome animals both human and pets to chill with

  • Bridie's place was lovely. We only had the one night as we were only passing through, but it was wonderful and I wish we had had more time. The house was wonderful with amazing views and we had a great breakfast in the morning. No where was really walkable so you would need a car, but it was worth it!

Tir Navar Holiday Village is situated in Derrygonnelly which is approximately 10 miles fromand Enniskillen . You’ll love the location because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the neighbourhood, and the comfy bed. The location is good for couples, young families (with kids) solo adventurers, business travellers, and can also accommodate large groups. We’ve transformed the Old Creamary into a number of townhouses with 16 rooms furnished to a high standard.
  • Liam was such a wonderful host. He helped us when our GPS lead us astray, and even found us driving through town, and guided us to his bnb. He welcomed us with tea and cake, great conversations, and offered to show us around the next day. Unfortunately our times didn't match up, but he said if we're ever in the area again he would take us out. The old creamery is very unique feeling. You get the impression you're in your own village within Derrygonelly. The accommodation is right in town, there's 3 pubs, and a few takeaways, all round good atmosphere. The room we stayed in was clean, basic and all we needed. Warm, dry, and there was a shower. I would highly recommend a couple nights stay here. If we're in the area again, we'll be going back. Thanks for everything Liam.

    Breila2016-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Liams hospitality and local knowledge is second to none. He went above and beyond to make sure we arrived safely and gave us some great local spots to visit. The facilities are great and you won't go hungry for a really affordable price. I highly recommend!!

    Linda2016-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had no problem finding Tir Navar and were warmly welcomed and attended to, almost as kin. Liam and Amy were engaging and helpful in guiding us as we requested. The natural surrounds were amazing and the time in nearby Enniskillen with its museum and dining were perfect. Try Granny Annie's. I had the best seafood chowder I ever had in my life. Guinness is Guinness and available everywhere as expected to soothe the soul.

    Michael2017-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Liam is a warm and lovely host. He made everything he could to make us feel welcomed and we really appreciated his help and suggestions to explore the surroundings. He even drove us to a couple of panoramic spots. The complex is basic but clean, each ensuite room accommodates up to 4 (1 double + 2 single beds) although we were only 2 in a room so it was quite comfy, there's also a kettle for tea and a tv. Wifi is available although inside the room there is little or no signal, so one has to go outside.

    Federica2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic hospitality and value. All of the best parts of an Irish welcome are here and you are very well looked after. Accommodation is clean, warm and functional, location is great and the homemade bread is amazing. We will be back.

    John2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Liam, Amy and Graham are a great team - nothing is too much bother. Tir Navar is easy to find in Derrygonnelly. Rooms are basic with very comfortable beds, good wifi, plenty of heat and hot water. Excellent breakfast.

    Hilda2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Recently stayed in tir navar, had a nice time, the room was as expected and met our needs, the breakfast was very very nice. Liam was a very courteous host and went to great lengths to make sure our stay was a pleasant one. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Our one night stay in Derrygonnelly was great. The accommodation was neat and clean and Liam and Amy were both very helpful. Breakfast was lovely too!

This 100 year old Fisherman's cottage has been lovingly restored to create a rare romantic hideaway in the wilds of Fermanagh. Its eclectic interior offers comfort & tranquillity. Look out on uninterrupted views of Lough Scalban & relax.
Cottage 51 is a private property on private land, overlooking a charming pike lake called Lough Scalban. It comfortably houses 2 couples, and has a fully equipped kitchen with all the usual appliances required. It has 2 stoves to be used to heat the cottage, and guests can also use a metred system to access oil fired central heating Why not relax in the sitting room with an old film, beside the cosy Victorian stove. Light the fire in the bedroom and run a bath. Close over the voluptuous Taffeta curtains, pour a glass of wine and forget your troubles. You may be a fishing fanatic or love to roam the countryside or the many walks of the Ulster Way. Cottage 51 offers a haven of comfort and warmth to return to. A lovely addition to the cottage - a painted, panelled room, with a large selection books to enjoy while lounging on the window seat enjoying uninterrupted views of Lough Scalban or enjoy a lovely intimate dinner with friends - comfortable seating for 8. It is worth noting that the cottage is styled with rustic elegance. It is decorated with a mixture of artistic eccentric care, & good well thought out amenities. It is well equipped & the beds are dreamy & with lovely linens, however it is an old cottage in the wettest county in Ireland so needs to be heated up for a day to awaken its beauty. We always leave a few pound coins to get you started with the oil meter. This means you can get the cottage cosy ahead of lighting the stoves.
Cottage 51 is located appox 2.5 miles from village of Belleek, which has the world famous Belleek Pottery Centre, many shops including a butcher, chemist, Centra, hotel, restaurants etc. Established in 1857 Belleek Pottery holds a very special place in the cultural and commercial heritage of County Fermanagh. Nestling on the banks of the River Erne this imposing building is home to the world famous Belleek Fine Parian china and also to one of Irelands top five visitor attractions. The building which, up until 1988, was used to produce Belleek has since been refurbished internally and features a museum, tearoom, video theatre and showroom. Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh is 12 miles, Enniskillen Golf Club is 22 miles and Castlehume Golf Club is 19 miles away. Ballyshannon is 10 miles away and Bundoran with all its children’s activities is only 14 miles away.
  • What a beautiful cottage!! Very remote, no phone reception, no internet, just a small beautifully designed home overlooking a lake and green countryside for miles. We really enjoyed our two-night stay here to the point that it was very hard to leave! Would really recommend this cottage for longer stays as it is so peaceful it is like a retreat. Would have been great to have more time to scope out the eclectic book collection too! Thanks for a great stay Fleur & Ciaran!

    Emma2016-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely and relaxed stay at Cottage 51. It was just what we were looking for! The views of the lake and the cosy fire in the evenings were an added bonus.

    Hannah2016-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • If you're looking for an idillic retreat away from the humdrum routine and the constant buzzing of your phone then this is where you need to be. From the moment we swung the metal gate open and walked down the incline to this lake side cottage we were enchanted. Roses surround the front door where you step in to a little slice of history. The cottage is lovingly restored with the most scrumptious of beds and the most accommodating bath. We both had the best nights sleep here and woke rejuvenated. The view alone is worth going for and you could happily dit sipping coffee with a good book in the conservatory all day. The kitchen had everything needed and the small, cosy sitting room was perfect for a post dinner movie and glass of wine. The only complaint I have was that it was hard to leave! We will be back but for a longer stay next time.

    Kate2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the views, bath and candlelit evenings. Bring bath oils, candles and dvds to cosy up in the evening and good walking shoes for during the day. Close to Enniskillen too - try Dollalkis :)

    Laura2017-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant hideaway location with stunning views. Cosy quirky cottage. Ideal for a relaxing chill out break.

    Hilary2017-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful rustic cottage, cosy and well equiped.

    Fiona2016-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful, peaceful and secluded cottage. Full of great style and taste, quirky but totally functional and comfortable. Perfect for getting away and switching off. Wonderful bathtub, a great and eclectic selection of books, beautiful view of the lake and, when the clouds lifted, fantastic starry night skies...

    Jo2017-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the absolute quiet, the starry skies, the roll-top bath in the main bedroom, the view from the dining room (and the toilet).

Cozy cottage with lake and boat in the South Donegals, rowing boat included, fishing facilities, private sandy beach by the lake. Open fireplaces, central heating, dishwasher, washing machine. Large bathroom.
  • Dirk (the owner) was friendly and communicative regarding our stay in his cottage. Information about and directions to the cottage were clear and we arrived to find a welcome note, fresh flowers around the house and thoughtful gifts of fruit and potato snacks. The cottage was comfortable and pretty well equipped. It's in a really quiet and secluded location - just what we wanted as a base for a relaxing week exploring north west Ireland (our only visitors were a lonely horse and an inquisitive pine marten). Generally, we were very happy with our accommodation - only negatives were a rather feeble shower (couldn't get the power shower to work), dampness to the air when we arrived (probably due to poor ventilation) and a slightly dodgy kettle.

    Rob2015-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • After finding the house up a tricky road we discovered a beautiful place. The scenery was outstanding and a very clean house. We had a great few days exploring the lake and the countryside around the cottage. An excellent week, a lovely place and it was a great central location for us to get out and about to visit family in the area and see the other sights.

    maxine2015-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jolene, made us feel very welcome on arrival, but unfortunately I wouldn't class the accommodation as luxury. It needs a little bit of work to make it "luxury". The location is lovely and is perfect being right on the lough. But the house needs a bit of tlc. In regards to cleanliness the bed linen and bathrooms were clean but the kitchen needs to be cleaned better. Dishes were not clean and the frying pan hadn't even been washed and still had oil and grease in it! The high hair had not been cleaned since the last time it was used. I was disappointed in this as Jolene knew we were a young family using the high chair. Overall the accommodation was fine, but with a little bit of extra care would be so lovely.

It was very clean. Finding the place is a bit challenging but as long as you follow the directions provided you will find it and it's definitely worth it! Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend it, will hopefully come again!

  • Felt very welcomed instantly. Host arrived with muffins and scones, etc. Nice, comfortable place, relaxing, pleasant. Would definitely stay here again!

    Christine2016-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • This was a cottage which caught our eye right from the start of our search. There was great anticipation that it would turn out out to be as idyllic as the photos suggested, and we were far from disappointed. Jolene is a good host who knows when to help out and when to leave you alone. The cottage is perfectly set up for a family setting - or a group of chums looking forward to getting stuck into the 'Great Outdoors'. Thanks again for sharing your home.

    Debbie2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location. Very close to the Lake. Very helpful. Clean. The house had everything we needed for a short break away. 100% staying again.

    Stephen2017-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Joelene's cottage for one night with a group of 5 people. Unfortunately, we had a lot of trouble finding the cottage. Joelene was unable to provide us with directions unless we were already very close to the cottage, which was an issue. Unfortunately it wasn't as clean as we have come to expect from numerous other AirBnbs we've previously stayed at.

Anne and Trevor welcome you to our home which is located on the edge of the town and is an ideal location for exploring Fermanagh Lakeland. This is a quiet, spacious room with a double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and walk in wardrobe. The room overlooks the front of our house.
Quiet location. Cul de sac. We are located on the A32 road. Leave Irvinestown in the direction of Omagh/Dromore. As you leave the town you will see a sign indicating you are entering Co.Tyrone. We are the first road on the right after the sign. Parknasilla is on the road sign. We are the last house. If you drive on to the Filling Station in the Main road you have gone too far!
    Quiet neighbourhood.
  • Trevor & Anne were great hosts. Very welcoming and made you feel at home. Stayed here for a wedding at the Manor House Hotel, which is a short distance away. Highly recommended.

    Mary2017-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • A kind, welcoming and gracious couple who made me very welcome to their comfortable home. A lovely, comfortable, well appointed ensuite room with a welcoming feel and a great night's sleep. It is an easy stroll into the town to enjoy the facilities and social opportunities this interesting, friendly former market town enjoys (including the historic drapers' shop "J O'Hanlon's" - unchanged in virtually a century, but with a modern range of durable and high quality goods), as well as ready access to the mystical, pantheistic beauties and history of Fermanagh's lakelands.

  • Trevor and Anne are terrific hosts, making you feel like part of the family rather than a visitor in their beautiful home. There was never a shortage of things to talk and laugh about. Nothing was too much trouble and their many small kindnesses set a standard few could achieve. Thank you.

  • We had a great stay at Jolene's place - we were at a wedding at Manor House so it was just a few minutes away bay car. The next day we took the Lady of the Erne boat out and it departed from the jetty just in front of the house so we simply walked over. Everything was clean and tidy - lovely place to stay!

    Emma2016-05-02T00:00:00Z
  • Throughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, felt a little let down due to the pictures advertising the cottage beside the lake and were then told our one was actually on the side in the corner. I think a better description is needed for the ad, apart from that was clean, and cosy. Jolene was lovely and welcoming, no set time to arrive and no set check out time which was great. View from the front of the property is amazing looking into the Lough, just a shame we couldn't see it from inside the cottage. The manor hotel was a stone throw away and had a good night away from home.
