OPERA - NEW LUXURY LOFT- 6P - 2BDR & 2BTR & LIFT

WhitneyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our family had a great stay in Sarah and Romain's place. Appreciated the welcome treats upon our arrival. Their place is central for walking, bus, and train. Lots of food options around as well. There were a couple of issues that came up during our stay and the hosts were very responsive. Only downside was the construction directly across the street, sometimes starting as early as 5 am. Not the hosts fault but something to note. Would book with them again.

House with garden, central Paris, 5 bedrooms

GeoffreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful, welcoming and fascinating house where we felt immediately at home. It easily accommodated six of us, with generous living spaces (including a grand piano which was very much enjoyed) and a delightful garden. Full of pictures and books, it is a very relaxed and relaxing place to stay: if Paris wasn't on the doorstep, we could easily have not left the house. The local area is terrific, with an amazing market (we were lucky enough to be there at the start of the asparagus season!), restaurants and bars, away from the tourist areas but with easy access to the city centre: we walked just about everywhere. It's rare to find a house like this in a city like Paris, and we had a very special family weekend in this gorgeous family home.

A really beatiful house, very large, perfect for 10 people or more. we were 3 families and there was enough space for everyone. All the home appliances are top level, and the beatiful living room is the heart of the house. unfortunately, because of the weather, we haven't used the garden but it is a great plus in summer time. Near train station (10') and many supermarkets. Absolutely raccomanded

N1 - Apartment 20 minutes from Paris - with garden

Luis PatricioRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The 5 stars sum it up
the place met my expectations
what I liked the most was the genius and simplicity at the same time of the videos with clear instructions for self check-in
my daughter and I arrived late at the place without knowing anything and check-in was very easy. He took the opportunity to give advice to travelers staying here: "The address is easy to find, but since the transport system in Paris is designed for locals and not for tourists, to get to the accommodation you must have a digital map like Google maps and also ask about how to get out of the airport and make connections to get there without a problem"... I insist that the above is not the host's fault, but the fault of Paris's tangled transport system (the previous days we were in Naples, Rome, Madrid, Barcelona, Zaragoza and their transport systems are very tourist-friendly, you immediately learn how to use them...except in Paris)

Thanks for a great stay. Everything worked well from the start. The location was lovely - 10 mins walk from Gare du Nord, in a beautiful part of town with nice cafes around a beautiful old church. 3 minutes walk to a tube stop taking us straight to the Louvre. Vitalina was on hand to meet us when we arrived, even at 9pm on a Sunday (thanks).

Your guide to Paris

All About Paris

The thumping heart of France, Paris is one the world’s great cities, beloved as much for its historical boulevards and world-class museums as its iconic bakeries and boutiques. Join the locals in line for freshly baked baguettes at the ivy-covered boulangeries of Le Marais, then wind down with a chocolat chaud at one of the city’s famous corner cafes. Visitors are drawn to Paris’ literary heritage, where antique bookstores and poetry performances abound, while food lovers are well served by a mix of traditional brasseries, chef-driven restaurants, and innovative under-the-radar hotspots.

Running through the heart of Paris, the river Seine provides a scenic backdrop for quayside picnics and a sought-after spot to cool off during the summer Paris Plages event. The city is world-renowned for its shopping, from the homey kitchenware stores on Rue Montorgueil to the historic fashion houses of Rue Cambon. Shoppers should be on the lookout for bargains during the twice-yearly sales (les soldes) in January-February and June-July. And for a tranquil start to an action-packed day, join in with a tai chi session among the famous topiary hedges of the Jardin des Tuileries.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Paris

An ideal time to book a vacation rental in Paris is in spring, when the city’s gardens are in full bloom and the cafĂ©s are bustling. From June through August, temperatures spike and there are long days of sunshine, drawing locals out onto the banks of the Seine. Paris boasts a packed program of summer events, including Bastille Day, FĂȘte de la Musique, and the exciting final stage of an iconic bicycle race.

Occasionally uncomfortably high temperatures and busier streets are countered with beaches built along the river as part of the popular Paris Plages event, live music performances, and open-air movies. Fall is also a popular time to visit, with crisp days and eye-popping foliage in the city’s green spaces. Winter can be cold and gray, but the moody weather adds an element of mystery to the city, which tends to be quieter from November to February. It rarely snows in Paris.

Top things to do in Paris

Musée d'Orsay

Paris has more than 100 museums, but arguably the most beautiful is the MusĂ©e d'Orsay, which is housed in a stunning old Beaux-Arts railway. The art on display is by renowned French artists — including famous works by the Impressionists as well as changing special exhibitions. Enjoy a stroll along the Left Bank of the Seine to take in the city views before or after visiting.

Jardin des Tuileries

Once the garden of the Tuileries Palace, the Jardin des Tuileries opened to the public after the French Revolution. Explore these manicured gardens after visiting the nearby Louvre and taking a stroll around Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris. Pick up a delicate crĂȘpe from one of the carts and settle down on a bench to do some people-watching.

Palais Garnier

Take in a classic opera, avant-garde ballet, or one of the many other performances staged at this historic venue. Built in 1875 at the request of the emperor, Palais Garnier is viewed by many as one of the most opulent opera houses in the world, with a breathtaking grand staircase, swathes of ruby velvet, and glittering chandeliers aplenty.
