Maarten is really nice gentle host. I enjoyed the time stay here. The only little issue is that this place is little far away from Enschede and Henglo if you want to go there. But it's quite near to the bus station. The price/performance ratio is still quite high here. Recommend.

The room is exactly how It is introduced in the description. Maarten is the nicest host I could had met for my pretty long stay for work reason (more than one month). He is a social person, with a lot of interests and nice suggestions for turists. His room is 15 minutes away from train station by bus, in a really calm place. He made available for me all the necessary for cleaning spaces and cooking food. He is a kind and precise person

I came in at 10pm and was in bed by 2 (... the tiredness ... after all, you're not the youngest anymore :)) - we were right on the spot and did not talk about the weather .... I look forward to seeing you again! Nice room as in the pictures, very quiet. Oldenzaal (a rather small town) surprised me very much and is great for exploring the Twente region - thumbs up!

A nice cabin with a beautiful view, where you can see the sun rise and fall. Do not expect excessive luxury, but exactly everything you need and above all the peace and quiet to enjoy and rest well. A wonderful place!

Frank and Elsbeth's place is the perfect stay if you're simply looking for a place to sleep/ get ready to explore the region. Even though small, it perfectly captures the dutch style of living and the cleanliness and amount of accessories and equipment were amazing. First place I will check out if I have to stay in Hengelo again!

Great place to Stay!

It was a tiny, but cosy garden house with a huge bed, a modern bath room and place to sit for breakfast. Everything concerning breakfast equipment was also provided, including a fridge, facilities to prepare coffee and tea. We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for spending one night and roam around in the region. We definitely recommend this place if people want to visit Enschede and it's surrounding area.

Very nice place, ideal to go into the city. We were in the metropolis with a 20 minute walk.

It was very nice (calm and relaxing). The highlight is natural. the Ourdoor Jacuzzie which was bigger than we thought and which we used several times a day. As an info: there is no oven.

Charlotte is a wonderful hostess. The communication in advance was fast and great. The cabin is a little dream and conceptually very well thought out. There are small clues hidden everywhere that make it easy and comfortable to live in. We also got a breakfast delivered each morning, where Charlotte responded to our requests. All in all, a beautiful getaway. We will be back

Lovely house!

We slept 1 night in the log cabin of Charlotte and we enjoyed it very much. It is a nice atmospheric house with 2 wonderful beds. Charlotte is a friendly hostess who has prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We can definitely recommend the cottage.

The accommodation is easily accessible from the center; About 15 minutes by bus, 30 minutes on foot or by bike (about 10-15 minutes). The house is quite large, kitchen and living room spacious. The fact that there are three bathrooms, one can switch to another bathroom, if one is occupied. The house was a bit cold in November, but not overly. All in all, I liked it. Jan was also very friendly and gave me assistance for the arrival and offered to use one of his bikes :)

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you. The apartment is located on the first floor in an apartment building in which the host also lives. The courtyard is surrounded by fields and fields, it is a small stretch to the next housing development, which I, as a city child, really liked. The host is available for all questions and concerns, is super nice and open-minded. The apartment is furnished with attention to detail, super clean and offers space for creative thoughts and relaxation. Shops and thermal baths can be reached by car within 10 minutes. This accommodation is exactly like the pictures! A little luxury in the yard, really great! The location of the apartment is perfect for a short trip to the neighboring country, the Netherlands! It was easy from the start, whether it was communication or moving in quickly! I spent 5 whole weeks there (for professional reasons). The worst moment was moving out, because you feel very at home and well received and didn't want to leave! :( I personally would recommend everyone to spend their nights here !! Since I would also like to book the accommodation myself again with Helmut and Matthias!

Spacious two room bungalow. Within walking distance of the center of Hengelo. Ideal for expats or people who want to stay a little longer in Twente. Bicycles can be rented from the owner.

Beautifully equipped home. Fully equipped. Everything is brand new and spotless. Warm in terms of decor, feeling, but also in terms of communication with Sjoerd. I myself have only used the space as a place to sleep, but the house is certainly suitable for more.

Best experience in Netherlands you can get is here. We had a 5 nights stay and we enjoied most of the beautiful cities that this country has to offeet. Our host nicely offered to show us the surroundings that were stunning. The bungalow had all you could ask for, meaning a fully equipped kitchen designed with stylish decorations. Also, a sparking clean bathroom and a comfy bed. We loved our staying here. The owner is a great person with a big heart. Totally recomand this place.

PROS: Quiet and private bungalow situated in a garden (whenever we had guests over, they were very jealous of the whole thing), location (in a comfortable neighborhood, near downtown Hengelo and train station, bike ride to University of Twente), consistent wi-fi, very well furnished (full kitchen), great layout (comfortably sleeps 4 adults), modern well-stocked kitchen (all built within last 2 years), plenty of lights and outlets, property matches description/photos on AirBnB very well CONS: None. We were here for over 2 months and did not have a single complaint about the property or host. Host notes (an extra plug): Sjoerd is an amazing host and if I could nominate him for some sort of AirBnB award I would! When we arrived, he picked us up from the train station, picked up our bags from the Amsterdam airport (2 hours away!!) when the airline wouldn't deliver them (they had lost them), helped us get bikes, helped us get registered in the Netherlands, brought us a gift when we learned the gender of our baby, provided travel recommendations, and was a great friend for us during our stay. His English is also impeccable (we don't speak any Dutch). People like Sjoerd are the reason that AirBnB exists; you will love your stay here!

Joop and his wife were very welcoming and had the best breakfast with fresh squezzed orange juice, fresh crossaints, bread and fruits. We would defenitly stay there again :)

The studio is comfortable and equipped with all the necessaries and basics stuff you may need. Cozy, simple but pleasant furniture, Apple TV with Netflix, modern kitchen. We felt just like at home. The location is quiet, in a bike distance from the center. For those with car is easy to find parking nearby for free. Easy to check in and out, Max is really kind and available for every question.

We came to flat at 12.00 p.m. and it was very comfortable to get key in box! Flat nearly from the centre of Enschede (5 min) and have very good view on both side! Flat on pictures the same like in view. We only would like that the kitchen to be cleaner.

In my opinion, the room in Jan's house looks significantly larger than the specified 10.5m2. The house has two bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. I felt very comfortable and can recommend the accommodation.

Jan was Super accommodating with my last minute reservation. I arrive to the house and its Big beautiful inside and out, I Interacted with Jan and he was very helpful.

An absolute must for a weekend with friends. Relax and unwind in this wellness house. The hot tub is large enough for four people and in the sauna you can enjoy the two of you. Nice eateries are easily accessible within a 10-minute walk. The bedrooms are not equipped with beds and privacy to go with a group of couples, but for a group of girlfriends this was perfect. Only downside is that the toilet in the bathroom is not closed. This allows you to go downstairs faster when there are others in the bath / sauna. The hostess is very friendly and welcoming, responds quickly to questions and communicates clearly.
